Who cares if he wants you to break up with him or not. Ditch him. Get some respect for yourself before you get into another relationship. Carry smaller bills.

I think you should leave him. Why would you give him a $50 dollar bill? no offense, but you should have wen't to the store yourself.. the best thing for you to know sweetie is that you cannot trust men. If he hasn't even called you or anything, that should how little he cared about being responsible. I know you would like to trust men, but the sad fact is that women should not. Because whenever they get one moment to take advantage (like yours just did) they will do it. You should break up with him if he is doing things like that. I don't care if it was a $20 dollar bill. It was YOUR money and he didn't even have the decency to call you or return your change. He is a deadbeat, and you should try to be by yourself for a while. men like that don't care about you. Trust me, I have had some bad experiences with men. Move on and let him go. I am not going to tell you to find another man, because as far as I'm concerned, there are no good men left.

you dont need to break up with him he has already done it for you.
if he has been doing a lot of bad things lately you need to stay away respect yourself enough not to fall into a trap.
that $50 is gone, so dont even worry about it , AND never give anyone that kind of money for body wash and conditioner , $5 would have been plenty

He isn't ever coming home or until he needs to take advantage of you again. That $50 is being spent on some of those "bad things."
I would take the hint. Sounds like he broke up with you already. Or if at least you were smart you wouldn't let him come back.

If he's been doing bad things lately and he's in a half way house, he might have broke curfew or something and got put on restriction and can't come out or call for a while, try calling there and see if they will give you any info on his stats

Consider the $50 loss a life lesson. You've learned from your situation and need to move on.

No he don't want to break up with you. He wants you to stick around so when he finally shows back up and tell you a bunch of hog wash. (I'm sorry's) You will believe him. He will get a little nookie, some more money and disappear again.
YOU need to be finding someone else.

What bad things has he been doing? He's in a halfway house? Well, you know where to find him if you want to... My guess is that he's used your money to do "bad things" and now feels to guilty to talk to you. Don't worry about whether he wants to be with you, decide if you want to be with him. He's stealing from you, he's in a halfway house, and who knows what else. Good luck.
