a fever or getting sick or something, the bump was still there. it didnt hurt or anything. my stepmom said it was a fever blister. i think i had one before 2 or 3 years ago and i got really sick then with a bad cold or something. so now when i get this fever blister/cold sore yet again i feel like im coming down with a cold or something and a slight fever. i took cold medicine and felt fine the next day. and after different ointments my cold sore has practically disappeared in like 3 days. does this only happen to me before i get sick (cold/flu) or could it be something more serious. should i go to a doctor and get tested for anything???

....... yet make up about 10 percent of thr general population.

Christians represent 75 percent of the population and also represent 75 percent of the prison population.

This means that atheists are 50 times less likely to offend.

What does this say about the christian belief that their religion makes them better people and that atheists who don't share this belief must be morally bankrupt as a result.

I wonder how many christians who arte desperate to be right at all costs and hate the idea of cold hard facts casting their beliefs in a negative light will use the old "Well they were atheists when they committed the crime but they found god while in prison" excuse.

By being busy I mean having something on hand that we have decided and taken up to do.

By moving I mean bringing about changes in life as opposed to allowing it to just go on.

I live in NZ where nuclear electricity generation is not an option and where solutions have to be found that are sustainable. Most of our electricity is generated by hydro-electric dams but as we move towards needing more electricity (it seems minimising use is in the too-hard basket) we are being asked to consider "solutions" such as Marsden B - a proposed coal fired power station. What I want to know is, why cant electricity companies make a deal with us to install solar panels on our roofs which can contribute to the national grid daily? Obviously electricity is difficult to store but there must be a more sustainable and economically friendly way to deliver electricity to homes without sacrificing the planet.

I've recently had to re-format my computer but now I've lost the use of the sound card. I've looked for it on my system but it doesn't seem to recognise that there is one there. The soundcard worked fine before I re-formated so whats happened to it??

Also, right where the IV was, the vein seems to be much harder than my other veins and it moves around. What could this be and do I need to go to the doctor to check it out? Is it at all possible that a part of the IV could have gotten stuck in my vein because that is exactly what it feels like

A woman takes off her knickers and sits in the dentists chair with a leg on each arm.The dentist says 'I'm terribly sorry madam but you've made a mistake, this is the dentists not the gynaecologists, that's on the next floor' 'No mistake' she replied. 'Yesterday you fitted my husband with new dentures. Today I want you to take them out.'

Hi,

I'm Rob, professional software engineer and amateur geologist...

Could condensation nuclei typically used to enhance precipitation at ski resorts, like dry ice (CO2) and silver iodide, be used to enhance precipitation above the planet's ice sheets, and thereby enhance snow and cloud cover?

As most scientists know, snow and clouds are significantly better reflectors of long-wave radiation than are most land surfaces and clear sky.

Just a thought....

I had a REO Speedwagon concert T-shirt from the late 70's early 80's. It was black and had the wings logo on the front and tour dates on the back. I don't remeber the exact year, it belonged to my mom. If anyone has any idea of where I could find this shirt or a similar one, it would be awesome. Thanks!
