There was a question earlyer, some of you may have seen it others not, that peeked my interest.

For a long time i have had this question and i want real catholics to answer it for me. I am a Christian and being so i pray directly to God and ask him to forgive my sins and other things. What i am wondering is why Catholics think that they have to go and repent to someone else and not just talk directly to God? I can find no passage in the Bible that tells us to do this and it makes me curious to find the motivation behind it.

It also confuses me why Catholics pray to saints. If they are dead, what good can it do? And if they can hear you from heaven, how? I mean, isnt God the only one that can hear prayers?

Just some stuff to think about i guess. if you have any answers to some of my questions it would be appreciated! thanks

I broke out a few weeks ago and I'm now left with these ugly blemishes only on the left side of my face. Every wear else is crystal clear. I need to know what products will help me get rid of these and also prevent me from breaking out in the future. Any suggestions???

It seems to me that most Democrates wanted the Republican Congress and president to fail. Why? Maybe so they can say I told you so? Well Dems hold Congress and Bush is out in two years, what are their policies then? Without a typical, let's hope Republicans fail agenda, what do they have? It seems hard to be a progressive country when half of it wants it to fail. You can speak of different policies and disagree with the ones in place, but it does the country no good to hope and plot for failure.

I've known this girl for at least 2 months now and we talk and we've been out to parties and gatherings. She never calls me by name, but instead calls me my nickname because she thinks its cute. I liked someone before but found they didnt respond to me after a while, and this friend caught me with her a fortnight ago. She said she was upset that i was 'too busy socialising' to notice her but after that she said that i'm forgiven and that i owe her lunch to make up. I agreed to invite her to lunch this week. We havent seen each other since the party but i send her flirty messages on msn and she laughs at them, and yesterday, i had a long day of work but we talked through sms until 3 in the morning. I'm beginning to think about her more now. Do you think she likes me?

My whole adult life has been spent going from job to job and they've all made me miserable. I'm not a whiney person- i'm a hard worker but the overall level of b.s. in the corporate world really stresses me out. I end up quitting jobs then explaining to the next potential employer why i always leave jobs, it's a cycle. Now another temp job has ended and i cannot bring myself to job hunt again! I've spent a month hanging out with friends and crashing couches. It's been a really great time in my life. I can write whenever i want... but i don't want to mooch. How can i earn my own way until i become a successful writer without another stupid job that i'll quit?

We all know that Germany is close to developing wonder weapons in World War II (first jet engines for fighter planes, rocket driven ballistic missiles, infra-red sights for artillery cannons, armor-piercing ammunitions, night-vision scopes, their own version of atomic bomb). The system does not lose any fluid at all, not through hose connections, rack seals or the pump. I have tried 3 different pumps and the fluid is circulating in the system. I have replaced the fluid and bled the air several times, but there is no "assistance". I know it must be the rack at fault, but if its not leaking, what else can be wrong ?
