It seems to me that most Democrates wanted the Republican Congress and president to fail. Why? Maybe so they can say I told you so? Well Dems hold Congress and Bush is out in two years, what are their policies then? Without a typical, let's hope Republicans fail agenda, what do they have? It seems hard to be a progressive country when half of it wants it to fail. You can speak of different policies and disagree with the ones in place, but it does the country no good to hope and plot for failure.

It seems that for the last 6 plus years Democrates have wanted things to go badly as a way to gain power. Instead, why can't they want things to go well, and then come up with new ideas to make things better to gain power?

Well James A., you don't deny you wanted Republicans to fail. Seems like the pot calling the kettle black (hypocrite). The party of acceptance and tolerance hard at work again. All Republicans have homes in the woods because they are rednecks, very tolerant.

I do not believe the country will fail under Domecratic leadership. In fact I hope it does good and progresses. I don't agree with many liberal phylosophies, and I hope that Republicans can learn from their success and and improve on Conservative ideals to make America better when they are re-elected .

It is a question of excercising your democratic right to electe your representatives. Those who are voted out are no devils and those who are elected are no angels. The public, when it comes to voting, are fickle minded. The make a begger a king and unmake a king and make him a begger. All in the game.

Your questions is solely based on your Republican prospective and asking your questions is not going to satisfy you. However, I do not believe half of Americans want the country to fail, they just do not want Bush and his cronies to continue the fiasco that is now the war in Iraq. More than half the country sent the Republican party a very clear message regarding the war in Iraq by electing so many Democrats to the House and Senate...so many that now we have control. Why do you assume that the country is going to fail under Democrat leadership? We can do no worse than we did under complete Republican leadership.

I remember when you wanted Clinton to fail. You guys are such hypocrites.

We warned you that the War in Iraq would be a disaster and now that it is you refuse to take responsibility for your actions.

You are like children and cannot be trusted with power. Instead you whine about how others "wanted you to fail" as if that explains your incompetence. Go back to your homes in the woods and let the grown-ups clean up the mess you have made.

And stop whining.
