THOUGH MANY HAVE SAID THAT WONDER WEAPONS COULD HAVE INDEED WON THE WAR FOR GERMANY A FACT THAT THEY HAVE CONSISTENTLY OVERLOOKED IS THAT BY JANUARY,1945 GERMANY NO LONGER HAD THE MAN POWER RESOURCES WITH WHICH THEY COULD WIN THE WAR- WONDER WEAPONS OR NO WONDER WEAPONS! ALSO WE MUST NOT FORGET THAT THOUGH THE SO CALLED WONDER WEAPONS SHOWED MUCH PROMISE THEY WERE YET IN AN INITIAL STAGE - HAD THEY COME INTO BEING BY EVEN 1942 THEN WELL THE STORY MAY HAVE UNFOLDED IN A DIFFERENT WAY.

The US had also developed jet planes by the end of the war so Germany's advantage would have been only for a short time. They used the rockets as terror weapons because they no longer had the ability to bomb with planes.Germany did not have the productive capacity to win. They couldn't even beat Russia. They had lost at Stalingrad before the US had troops in the war. Their only hope was if they had enough atomic bombs to force a settlement leaving them in control of the territory they held. Japans quick surrender after the atomic bomb was dropped was because they had already lost. Germany need more that just a couple of bombs, and to have them first.

The Eighth Air Force and the RAF bombed the bejeebers out of Germany's industrial infrastructure. That kept the production of many weapons at bay.
But you are dead right, the V1 and V2 and the ME 262 jets were startlingly effective. If given more time, who knows? Perhaps if Hitler had waited a bit, perhaps a year, these weapons may have made a stronger impact than they did.

Germany was incredibly advanced in a technological aspect. Their weapons were far superior to any other country's at the time. The german mg42 was almost directly copied onto american blueprints, slightly modified, and renamed the m60, which has been the SAW (squad automatic weapon) for the past 50 years, until recently, when they started replacing it with the m249.
Germany's problem is that hitler and his top aids failed to outsmart the allies. Looking at it from a technical stance though, germany definitely had the upper hand.

Without its wonder weapons Germany could have won WW2. The fatal blow for Hitler was the decision to invade Russia before defeating Great Britian. If Hitler had waited and first finished off Great Britian and then turned its sights on Russia, then they woudl have stood a chance at being around long enough for their super waepons to have taken to the battlefield. Play it out in Axis and Allies , the board game and try it.

have you ever wondered why god gave so much to Germany?
here is a country about the size of Texas, yet they were blessed so well that they almost conquered the whole world , or I should say beat the whole world, at her end of ww2 80% of the world was fighting against Germany , had they not ran out of fuel ?????
Germany was a down trodden and beaten country, the Jew's owned it and treated the Germans like they were sh.. then Hitler came along and within 10 years Germany became the worlds leader in so many different things , and some people have the nerve to call hitler stupid???

Quite possibly if they could have drove us off of the Normandy Beaches. They probably could have bought themselves some more time to develop their weapons. By the way, the allies also had armor piercing ammunition in World War 2. It was the standard ammunition used in the machine guns of allied aircraft, with every fifth round being a tracer to adjust fire.

No.
Hitler made several key mistakes. One was he spread his troops too thin. He had troops out in Finland out West in Europe, and into Africa. He wanted what Napoleon couldn't grab. by 1943 he was running low on oil reserves, and ground vehicles stopped advancing. He had strategically lost the war by 1944 the fall was just a long slow fall.

maybe Germany would have won the war if they are not bold enough to attack Russia..it will give them more focus and manpower on attacking Britain instead and more time on developing the wonder weapon.

Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades; they may have been close, but it didn't happen, thankfully. Its "wonder weapons" didn't work yet, or they might have won, but in many cases, their own scientists, knowing how they would be used, deliberately stalled work on such projects.
