i eat when i am bored, stressed, and tired. i realize that i eat out of habit, i just dont know what to do to take my mind off it! i need it to be something productive, not just like watching a movie or something. i already exercise a lot, and i dont have a lot of time. i eat while i do homework because it makes it more bearable! help!

My late spouse passed almost 3 years ago of a brain tumor. My family are interstate and I have never built a network of friends.

I have since married and now have a 7 month daughter. I was desperate to move forward with my life. I am sure I rushed at this.

I cannot speak of this to my wife, we have spoken in the past about it, but all it does is end up hurting her. You cannot compete with someone that is no longer present and in someone's fantasy.

I still have her ashes in the garage, and obviously ignoring this does not make it fade away. I am unsure if I love my current wife, but I want to do the best for my daughter.

I still feel guilty and angry about her passing. She was such a greater person than me, and if I had a choice I would have died for her. All I can do about my anger is rationalize it, as no one was to blame, it never gets directed anywhere.

I don't know what to do

The question is, why do Catholics think that they should pray to Mary, or that Mary was without sin, or that she was just somehow a heavenly woman? (as opposed to an earthly woman)

John 2:3-4
When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."
"Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come."

If mary was divine in a similar manner as Jesus was, why did she need to come to Him?
Also, Jesus would not call His Father in Heaven 'man', so if Mary was a heavenly mother, why did He call her 'woman'?


Luke 1:34
"How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?"

There are many verses I could have picked from this chapter, including the fact that the angel's message troubled her. But this question from mary illustrates that she really had no clue what was going on - she was just plain and simple human like you and me. Maybe favoured by God like Moses or Abrahame, etc, etc, but no more 'divine' or 'heavenly'

i was a foster kid and moved from home to home. I never really got settled in one place so i never really bonded with a family. Now i am 19 and on my own. I have lots of friends but they will be with their family's on the holidays and i really don't enjoy celebrating the holidays cuz of the past so i turned down a number of invitations to others homes. I have no family whatsoever... so does anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do to the pass the time? I could spend it being depressed but i'de rather not. been there done that, don't want to do it again. please help.

I have a 1967 chevy c20 2wd heavy 3/4 ton pickup truck. It has 4 wheel drum brakes and power assist steering from the factory. I want to change the front drum brakes to disk, and change the power assist steering to true power steering. I have access to a 1995 Chevy 1 ton truck for parts. I plan on using all of the steering linkage, p.s. pump, control arms, gearbox, spindles, steering shaft, brake booster, and all brake materials from the 1995 to retrofit the 1967. I know you can accomplish this interchange with Chevy trucks up to 1987, but I don't know if the newer body styles will also interchange. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

my friend had scored a 29 on his asvab and he was going 2 join the navy but he like's the army too and his navy recruiter said the army will accept him with that score, he haven't talked with a army recruiter yet, he just want's 2 no what and if there are any good jobs he could get with a score of 29 and if there isn't he is probably just going 2 wait til his six month's is up, so if anyone knows thax, and again no jokes pls.
