He has no idea how long he will be (could be over a year) and neither of us want to have a long distance relationship. While he isn't leaving for another 5 months he gets insanely jelous if I talk to another guy or even hang out with my friends. How can he be so commited now knowing that he is going to leave? He is in his mid 30s and I have just turned 30, and I have to admit when we met a year ago he told me he wanted to travel. Is it wrong for me to be thinking about maintaining my friendships & keeping my options open so I am not completly devestated when he leaves?

This is about California legislation being passed to exterminate pit bulls. If it passes in California, it could be on it's way to anywhere. Someone has to try to make a difference...what if it were your pet?

Okay, my question headline is just to get your attention. I know hermit crabs mate. But...I heard some where that they only mate in water. Is this true? Because I just bought my hermit crab that I've had for 2 years a tank buddy...and they're really getting along. I just wondered if it was possible for them to mate in their aquarium. I'm not sure what sex either is...I'm just wondering.

I'm a student and I've been working at a retail store for about 6 months. I started as a summer temp, but I decided to stay when school started back. Even though I like it, I'm starting to get stressed with dealing with school (I'm a pre-dental major), work, and social life. Also, they're not being flexible with schedules. I'm considering quitting after I go in Thursday and Friday, preferably Saturday, but I wanted to know if I had to give 2 weeks notice or is 2 days acceptable as wll? Thanks in advance.

Im just curious to know what you all think, i absolutely love this couple. I love everything about them, i love the fact that they are together and getting along. I think they are a beautiful couple.
