This won't work on wide leg jeans. Leggings look the best.
I found a little trick that helps me. I first put on my pants and then I put on my socks. I put on somewhat long socks. I then tuck my pants into my socks. I know that sounds weird but it helps your pants stay put. Then I put on my boots. Of course, you don't want your socks to show so if they do, just push them down. Hope this helps.

I would use skinny jeans, but I don't have any haha. But I have a pair of boot cut jeans that are not as wide at the bottom as others, so it's pretty easy to tuck them into all of my boots. Another pair of my jeans is really wide at the bottom, and they do not go well tucked in with my botts at all. I tried to wrao them around my legs but it didn't work.
So what I'm trying to say is that it really depends on the pants...

When I tuck my pants in my boots, I pull the bottom of my pants tight and wrap them around my leg and then I zip my boots up. Then you can adjust your pants from there. I think it works better when you leave your pants normal length and go from there. You should also make sure the boots you're wearing are made to have pants tucked inside. Some boots just don't look right with tucked pants.

try the skinny leg jeans, they're a little tighter in the leg than boot cut. Also it depends on the boots.. some are just not meant to have jeans tucked in them! Boots with wide tops or ones that are scrunchy are best to tuck into.

skinny jeans are easier to tuck into your boots. but if you dont have them, then you could still tuck them in. dont wear like..cropped jeans or whatever that it KINDA looks like theyre tucked in, but you can still see your skin. no. its just a no. dont do that. sorry i had to say that. but anyways, just tuck as much of it in as u can. it has never looked funny for me :)

try the tappered leg, or for boot cuts fold over at bottom, making a dart, or pleat, and then put boot on. But if you want your boots over your pants get tappered leg. They narrow down and hug the ankle.

Buy skinny jeans, they work the best, you can't tell they're bunched up.
