At work we drew names for "Secret Santas" and I"m the lucky one who drew the Boss's name. I need some help picking out his gift. He's only been working at this location for 3 months now, so not much is known about him.

Below is some information about him:
Male, likes golf, devout Catholic, 45ish, married with kids (youngest 15), new to Texas, photography hobbiest, moved from Louisiana, enthusiastic, and 5'10".

For Boss' day, we got him a calender and decorative cross. He liked them, but I don't want to repeat them and seem presumptious or give something that looked like I didn't care enough to be thoughtful.

I'm wondering what kind of nifty photography things one can get for $20. Or...should I get one of those "executive" gifts for his office? I thinkg most of them are pretty lame and he's not one to sit there and mess around on the clock. But if you know of one, please let me know.

Maybe I should call his wife? But I would hate not to get what she suggested.

I've read that a spinning ball, when it picks up velocity in air, encounters a free stream flow of air which acts in one direction, say left to right. Can someone explain from here how a ball, spinning in clockwise direction, causes a force to be constituted? I just want a clearer picture of this. I don't understand the explanation about the change in velocity, and then pressure, and then a net force up.

Since the ball spins clockwise, so the free stream flow over the top of the ball is assisted by the circular flow; the free stream flow below the ball is opposed by the circular flow.
The above is extracted from a source. So, i was thinking, since the velocity of air is lower below the ball and higher above the ball, (assuming its spinning in clockwise direction like how ur finger does when pointing to the screen) can i apply Bernoulli's Principle here? Where lower velocity means higher pressure and higher velocity means lower pressure, and so constitutes an upward force as well.

My car was over heating constantly. I replace the thermo stat and now the only time it over heats is just when you are sitting still. checked the fan clutch it is still good. Also now the heater is going out. it will work if you shut it off and let it set for a few minutes. you turn it on and it will blow hot air for a couple of minutes and then you have to turn it off and let it set again. This really sucks since I live in the mountains and I have to leave for work at 4am. it is really REALLY cold.
