I'm not sure how old you and your friends are...but here are some random ideas I have.

Game Idea - have people write down odd gifts (real or fake) and have people draw them out like "Win, Lose or Draw"

Food Idea - fondue set - instead of cheese - do chocolate. have pretzle sticks, candy canes, fruits, and marshmallow to pick from and small candies, sprinkles or nuts to garsish with

Game Idea - odd ball gift exchange - everyone bring an odd gift (talking coffee mug or assorted napkin rings) and do a white elephant.

Food Idea - homemade mini-pizzas where the crusts were cut out from christmas cookie cutters

Stuff the Santa Christmas Game

HOW TO PLAY:
1. Inflate an ample supply of balloons.

2. Divide contestants into teams of four to six players. Draw candy canes to determine which player will don the suit over his or her clothes; the player selecting the longest candy cane is It.

3. Teammates are given the task of stuffing the suit with balloons. Remind the players that a gentle touch is essential for keeping balloons intact. Set a timer for two minutes and see how many balloons the team can stuff into the suit before the time is up.

4. The next team of Santa stuffers must try to top the previous record, but first give Santa a chance to show off his lumpy physique.

If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 4 new original games that will help make your nite fun.

For parties like this they work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversation lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.

Several of these games have people start singing the songs to get to the answers and that is always a good thing.

Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groaning at the answers.

If links work in the answer blocks here's the link

there is also some party giving advice you may enjoy.

My wife and I made up the puzzles and many people really enjoy them.

I hope they work out well for you

Traditional Christmas gone Wild:

Give everyone a bit of Mistletoe in their hand or in their hair and stand back.

Egg Nog or Glogg is great - or both. A roaring fire and Glogg made with a hot poker from the fireplace is wonderful.

Fruitcake tastes great with cream cheese spread on it or some Nutella or Peanut butter also Ginger Bread made with Guinness stout is great

Chritsmas Plum Pudding is full of booze. Get a couple and slice them up put in little metal muffin cups, douse with more booze and call it Christmas Puddin' Shots.

My terrific concept became into no secret santa, no stupid present change, because of the fact i hit upon those stressful. How bout somewhat of all of us spending 10 dollars on a gag present, you assemble the ten and supply it to a charity? or somewhat of having human beings carry a secret santa present, you ask them to hold a fave Christmas tale or custom to proportion? or 15 copies of a relatives in demand recipe, or have them email you their in demand Christmas song, you burn a CD for each concentrated visitor of all the songs and hand them out on the celebration. Or have all of us carry a Christmas e book and placed across them to a collection that's giving presents to youngsters, so the babies gets a stunning Christmas tale. or...there are candle adorning kits, in case you're searching for an interest. or you should place out components to make taking part in cards (which you should maintain or carry to a nursing domicile) Or have human beings replace some thing functional, somewhat of secret santa, all of us brings a pot holder to replace, or a enjoyed ones gadget. Or have some white play dough and enable human beings make snowmen and that's going to be the funnest interest and a super centerpiece you will relish all season...then deliver each and each concentrated visitor a image of all the snowmen at the same time.

Booze, booze, and more booze.

Get boozed up and play some drinking games, like %sshole. Or, just get really boozed up and play some traditional card games, like Texas Hold'em poker or Euchre.

As long as there is plenty of booze, a good time is always possible.

For food, just go with whatever goes good with lots of booze. Pizza, subs, burgers, hot dogs, etc. It doesn't have to be too fancy, as long as it's a good time, and the booze will pretty much take care of that on it's own.

The game Cranium is great. It is really fun and has something for everyone. As for food, you could make some spinach dip and any kind of appetizer would be good. Look on www.allrecipes.com and search for appetizers. You can choose them according to user ratings.
