None, no works can take away sin. Ephesians 2:8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. We can never do enough to make up for sin. In Hebrews this is talked about extensively as well. In the Old Testament there were sacrifices for sin- Jesus came as the ultimate sacrifice so that by His blood we can be saved. You will do good works as a result of your relationship with God, as James talks about in chapter 2, but no work at all will help to forgive sin except asking God for forgiveness and repenting-meaning trying not to do it again.

No good works will get you into heaven, and the only thing that will is babtism in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost, the bible says in John 3:5, we must be born of the water and of the spirit or we shall not enter the kingdom of heaven....Peter also preached the same thing in Acts 2:38, i would suggest you read it, the only way to get rid of sins is through babtism, if you have been babtized all you need to do is merely ask, thats all it takes...and btw- God will "always" bless you for doing good works. Its part of being a christian which means to be christ like....may he bless you..

You can't take away sin with works. These comments likely come from a misinterpretation of part of the new testament. Too bad. It is used to shoot down beliefs of others when the others in question don't even hold the beliefs being shot down.

Be advised that doing good works is still a good thing to do.

None - A simply request for forgivenes that is true and an effort to turn away and not sin again. Works will never atone for a sin. Jesus did the one work that atoned for your sin.

One cannot work to take away a sin. Only Jesus can do that.

Only One, the Greatest Work of all. It was He that took away ALL sins, if we let Him.

We are saved by Grace through Faith, not of works.

Only God takes away sins. And not by works, "lest any man should boast"
