einstein said in his theory of relitivity that time slows down if we travell at the speed of light, THE QUESTION WHICH COMES TO MY MIND IS.... its only acceptible if our physical age also slows down and when we travel at the speed of light spending one year in outer space then our physical age should aslo increase one year only, other wise YOU MAY SAY , only your clock slows down at the speed of light ... WHAT DO YOU SAY ?

I am a Christian. I teach my children God loves everyone and everything. What happened to my cousin on Friday sickens me--is this what you teach YOUR children to believe?

A little girl in his preschool has been bringing her Bible to school. She chooses to preach and tell everyone if they are going to heaven or hell. She has told him (who has FAS) that he will go to hell because he's ugly and retarded.

Are you teaching your kids to judge?

Are you teaching them that God is superficial?

As a Christian, I ask all parents who carry this faith to be careful when teaching your child what God says is right or wrong. Be careful in teaching your children to judge. I couldn't believe the ugly side of Christianity could rear it's head this early.

Finally: how do you think this could have been avoided?

My family looked at lab puppies over the weekend. We've got 3 kids- a 7 yr old, a 5 yr old, and a 15 month old. We love dogs, even the 15 month old loves dogs, and these puppies, of course, were very cute. Also, we found 2 that were calm and non-chewy, even at 9 weeks. That is, they played but didn't try to knock down the baby. When they tried chewing on our hands and we pushed them gently away, they simply stopped, whereas the others just tried to chew shoelaces. I don't know how unusual it is to find Lab pups that can be that calm so quickly, the others I've seen were all high, high energy. Anyway, we are thinking of adding these two puppies to our family, but I wonder if we are nutty! We would crate train them, my husband gets up at 5 to go to work and he'd walk them first thing; I stay home; we have a fenced yard and a large home; we'd take them to dog beach and park; they'd be indoor family pets. My toddler is an easy kid. We can do the work, will it be too much work?

My husband and I have been TTC for a few months now. We will not know if we are successful or not until Dec. 24th (at the earliest). My husband's family is Finnish. We are going there for Christmas (on Dec. 23rd) They do not have baths or showers they have a sauna (one indoors and one outdoors). Will it be safe for my baby to sauna while I am there if I keep them short, if I keep the temperature moderate, and I stay on the lower benches (slightly cooler)? I have read a lot of conflicting studies on this the finnish studies say that Fins have a VERY low incidence of birth defects compared to other countries and Finnish women use the sauna from conception through delivery - saunas use to be used as delivery rooms! And most studies agree that our internal temp does not flucuate very much (about 1 degree) in a sauna because our bodie are so effcient at regulating temperatures. So why do North Americans studies say women should avoid the sauna?

ok so check this... whenever I go out to the malls with my american friends... they always check out cute girls and say many comments.. you know.. kinda rude. But them when I went to the philippines, my pinoys friends over there barely look at cute girls and do not make any comments at all. I work with a majority of Hispanics and most of them are very sweet. I have noticed that they are are reserved at first, I guess they don't know how we'll act towards them?I have worked with one guy for about the past 8 months and him and I have become really good friends, despite our language barrier. I can speak more Spanish than he does English and we both converse and teach each other our language. He tells me that I am his best "amiga" and that he hopes we are friends forever. He also will say stuff like "sexy" or "bonita" or "tienes novio? porque..tu eres muy bonita" which I just take as joking. A lot of the people I work with figure why bother to try and communicate with them and do not even give them the time of day. Do you think they appreciate an effort in getting to know them and communicating and that's why he tells me I am his best "amiga" or is it just a cultural difference? I know I appreciate it when they speak English and I get offended when people make racist remarks.
