After the 2004 tour ended on a sour note, all the band members went to their separate corners. According to Michael, Eddie didn't want to tour anymore if at all ever again. Not long ago, it was announced that Eddie's son has been playing bass in the studio and there are rumors of a 2007 tour with Diamond Dave .

I don't think the problem has ever been David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar or even Michael Anthony. It's all about Eddie getting his way.

Sorry i don't have the answer but this summer I went to see Sammy Hagar and Michael rocked with him during the last half of his show they even did the old Van Halen songs and neither one of them had anything good to say about Eddie. The song Sam I Am from Sammy's new CD is for Eddie
I agree with Matt Eddie seems to be the problem

Eddie didn't kick him out...they went their seperate ways. And in the Best of Both Worlds album, (the three new tracks) Eddie over dubbed Micheal's bass lines with Eddie's own bass lines. micheal Anthony found out about it and got mad, and left. VAN HALEN ROCKS ANYWAY!
