= It depends on what you intend to do. I graduated from MIT, but I like engineering. I guess the highest salaries come for Harvard Grads. At least that's what I was told. Money isn't everything. quality of life counts too.
Good Luck

In General, here's how I'd rank them:

Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge, Oxford, Yale, MIT, then UPenn.

This includes sports teams, area the university is located (night life), and general rep of ALL the programs offered. That's why Stanford is placed above Cambridge, Oxford, and Yale. Otherwise, I'd place it below them. Besides academics, Stanford has a far superior sports program and is located in an incredible area to live compared to the other three. Gives you a much better life overall. MIT and UPenn are in a league just below those five, with MIT being hurt primarily b/c it lacks graduate programs in major fields such as medicine and law. UPenn's ranking goes up and down too much from the very top from year to year and it's not in the greatest area.

All are super top notch schools. It's a VERY rare who has a good chance to get into all of them (technically, I don't think you can even apply to Cambridge and Oxford at the same time). I went to the top academic high school in California and no one in my class had a good shot at all those schools (a chance, yes, but definitely not a chance where you'd feel comfortable getting in). I've met a lot of crazy talented people over time and I can count on one hand the number of people I think would have had a good chance to get into all of those schools.

Eh, depending on which major you decide to go into... as far as law degrees go I would say Havard/Stanford.. Engineering or an electrical degree by a long shot would most certainly be MIT.. Those are all really good schools.. I doubt you'll go wrong with any of them. .. Research their programs a little bit more and what they are strong and weak in.

They're all great schools, but it really depends on what you plan on studying. You need to visit the U.S. News & World Report website - they release a list of the best schools based on your major each year.
