Because:
1. The reindeers need the exercise.
2. If he used FedEx, UPS, or USPS then he wouldn't get to have all those cookies and glasses of milk/hot chocolate that kids leave out for him!

Why pay for something that you can do yourself. If Santa used UPS then we would know his address, and we would definetley open our gifts before we are supposed to. UPS, FedEX, and USPS do not work on Christmas.
