what are some ways that I can improve my self confidence?

I've had a pretty long history with this. I still have an issue with my appearance. I had a slight case of anorexia back in high school that went on for a couple of months...now I believe i have muscle dysmorphia (but i never go the lengths of using steroids). I just never feel happy with who I am.

I think that I am afraid of humiliation. Whenever the teacher goes around the room asking everyone a question...I get very nervous knowing that it is my turn to speak. If I were ever to go to an acting class..i would probably faint. Whenever I am in a large crowd...i feel like everyone is paying attention to me. So when I walk in that area..I'm not relaxed.

My friends and i where talking over drinks tonight. while we do not mind the reg women mags that are out there,we thought it would be cool to have a mag that had "real" women in it. you look at models in mags like cosmo and most ladies look nothing like that and def are not that size. I think it would be cool to have a mag that had pictures of women that are of every culture and diff sizes. wha do u think?

There's a cartoon on television that a lot of kids watch- and on an episode that i saw today they made SEVERAL jokes implying that girls were stupid and only there "to look at." I watched the entire episode hoping there would be some kind of moral attachment at the end and there wasn't one. I've decided to not allow my children (2 girls) to watch that show anymore. My husband thinks I'm overreacting- am i?

One: People say"... muslims are peaceful and only few are violent"

Two: U.S. is failing in Iraq because of too much violence everywhere, everywhere! everywhere!!

She is in her 80`s and has been fighting this battle now for 5 to 6 years.This is the second time .She had breast cancer and she was diagnosed again 5/6 years ago with cancer in her throat.Now in her bones and brain.God Bless and thanks.
