I'm looking for a new Pocket PC. I dont want a Palm. I would like to have windows mobile. I'm new to the market and dont know a lot about these but i've been doin some research and can't seem to find too many with good ratings. So i turned here to see what you guys had to tell me. what are some problems that usually occur and what do you use them for when you have them. THANKS a bunch guys and gals.

I have a Dell Axim x50v.
Look for a pda with both SD and CF slots.

Take your time looking over the various features of the pda's. Your pda can be a Ipod killer, video player, handheld gaming device, wifi connected browser, ebook reader, native Word and Excel editor, PDF viewer (with a downloadable 3rd party viewer), Outlook sync and more.
I haven't had any problems with my x50v. I cut one of those PSP screen protectors to fit my x50v screen cuz I've heard of people that have put scratches on their screens. Every once in a while, I have to press the reset button on the back of the unit, but that's not really a problem.

Convergence! Devices should do more these days than just a PC. May I respectfully suggest that you get into the 21st century and get a mobile phone/Pocket PC combo? There is a Palm that is Windows-based - the Treo 700w.

I got an i-mate jasjar and it's great. I use that more than the pc for just about everything. It might cost about 1000 of your bucks but it's worth it

Gone to the store and actually holding them, I have iPaq on paper that unit is great but it awkward and operates funny since its construction is not good.
