i think i might really need it. i miss my family i haven't seen in over six years. the only family i have are my "friends" but they have been so negative and mean to me lately. i feel hurt and depressed and I hate the holidays because they make me feel alone. What can I do to get rid of the negativity around me because I feel like the only thing I can do is run and hide. I am soooo hurt. I feel like i can't trust anyone

I live in washington and my sons dad lives in arkansas.. hes been there since month two of my pregnancy. His wife claims he and she want to get joint custody of my son. (now five months old) He hasnt sent one thing to us, nor seen his son. My bro offered to fly him here for the birth but he didnt take us up on it. How long does it have to be before I can claim child abandonment on him.. and what does that do exactly? I just dont want people messing with my family.. Him and I are the happiest and I like him that way, and she was crazy wishing me to miscarry and stuff when I was pregnant. I dont want her near my son. Anyone know what I can do. I want him and my sons sisters to be able to see him but just not her til I can be sure she wont harm him out of jealousy. He is healthy (28in and 17lb5oz @ 5 months) and happy and I think if he went there then he would be treated differently than here.

plus theyre poor and can barely care for the 2 kids they have.

Being an atheist, I do not beleive in Heaven, Hell nor Gods.

However, in an earlier posting, I saw a comment that Satan was initially an angel who revolted against God, who then kicked Satan out of Heaven. And "Satan created Hell." Is this factual? Did Satan create Hell in the Christian tradition??

Using VB.NET, I have opened an SQLConnection and retrieved an SQLDataReader with the data I want to process. As I am going through each record in the reader, I may want to update the record. What is the best way to go about doing this?

Is it possible to call ExecuteScalar with UPDATE commands while the Reader is still open without the Reader keeping track of where it is?

Will I have to create a second connection?

What is the "best practice" approach?

Ok. I have a 2001 Ford Focus. At the begining of August I had a problem where my car would start jurking and not straightin up. The jurk was like it was having a seizure and it was so bad I had to have the car towed to the dealership. Come to find out it was the fuel system and there was a special recall on it so Ford completly replaced it at no charge. Now since the weather has gotten cold, mainly since Monday, I'll drive it for awhile and it'll jurk once or twice and stop and I'll go on driving more and it'll do it again and keep doing this. Could some condisation gotten in there and froze? Any ideas would help. Like I said its a brand new fuel syestem and in four months it shouldnt be bad...

I have a 32 gallon fish tank with 2 plecostomus, 1 clown loach, 3 mollies, and a tiger barb. The trouble is I'll be on vacation for about 18 days with no one to feed them.

Can I just put a long term feeder in there, and make sure the filters are clean? Or do I need to get rid of them, and if so where do I take them?

I dont understand why it is so hard to get a really good book out there. There are plenty of bad ones that get out. Good ones too, but how? I have written six, great books (not just my opinion either) everything from psychological thrillers, "ENTER (at your own risk)" action adventure "It doesnt get dark until midnight", to my autobiogrophy "April was here" which is better than any novel. I even painted the pictures on the covers! I have lived a life that would fill 100 books. So why cant I find someone that would take advantage of that talent? Does anyone know who to go to? I'm looking for an enclosed scooter or motorcycle, preferable one with a safety cage or roll bar already built in. I would be more than happy with a motorcycle or scooter that did not have a cabin, but did have a roll cage and seatbelts to protect the rider in case of a lay down.
