how important is it to use a heart rate monitor for exercise?
I am quite unfit right now having just started exercising in a gym - apparently its important to work within your target range... but right now am finding it quite hard to just walk on the treadmill for half an hour but obviously i will build up from that. Howver, I was told that its better to exceed to target range, cos the monitor is not accurate and also, its better to work harder.

My best friend and I used to be very close, but now that she and her boyfriend have moved in together, she seems to have little time for our friendship. I have been quite depressed recently and have felt I've had no one to turn to - in fact I don't think she is even aware of this fact.
Should I confront her about this, and try to work things out? Or should I let it go and concentrate on strengthening my other friendships?

i know the subject of evolution can be touchy, and i have some LDS co-workers i've been talking to lately. i'm also doing research in the field of anthropology (evolution and human nature stuff). i don't want to go off on how i believe evolution can explain nearly all aspects of human behavior around them if they don't believe in the theory.

So can anyone tell me what your church's official stance on evolution is? What is ok? Evolution of humans from a single-celled organism? Evolution of non-human animals? Sexual selection? Natural selection? Genetic mutations? Genetics in general?

I have heard from some mormons that evolution is against their religion but maybe i just met some contentious ones.

Ive got 18 days to go! so I just want to be prepared. Ive bought a treadmill, as I havent been able to walk ANYWHERE in the pregnancy due to swollen feet and ankles, and cant wait to start walking and running again! But what actually works for all that flabby lose skin some people get after birth, apart from sit ups, and a good diet?
