Do you avoid using words that you think the questioner/answerer might not understand? I don't mean that I think I'm smarter than everyone else, but some people on here obviously are a lot more intelligent than their answers would lead you to believe...I'm just wondering who feels they have to cut down to the level of their questioner/answerers? Or do you answer and hope for understanding?

My waist is already lean but it still doesn't look the way I want it to. I have seen pictures of women without corsets but their waists look like the same shape they would if they are wearing a corset, you know they have prominent ribs and a line running down their stomach, like in these pictures:

I have an appointment this Thursday to get my hair straightened and then cut. Problem is, I have very frizzy, very thin hair, which I seem to be losing at an unbelievable rate for some reason. I'm just really scared about having this done, as I certainly don't need any more hair loss. I guess if anything goes wrong, I can always just get extensions. Please let me know who has had this done and your results. Also, if anyone opted for any other type of "straightening system," please let me know what happened with that. Thanks!

ok somebody posted because they work in a restaurant.. they were complaining about parents who let their kids make a HUGE mess and behave like animals (I wonder if the kids behave that way at home too) and they were asking why do parents take such bratty children out..
Anyhow most of the answers seemed to say this was normal and there was something wrong with her for complaining about this... I was SHOCKED and rather disgusted.. if this is normal and so many people are saying its acceptable for kids to behave like this - I truely fear for the future....

wow.... how sad.. how sad.. how sad.... and why would parents allow their kids to treat other people (restaraunt staff) like crap is just terrible...

I had a dream last night that me and my 2 best mates isobel and chloe were riding a bike me a the back isobel on the main seat and chloe at the front and then we where riding down a cycle track and there was alot of trees and then we came to a footbal ground where one of my teachers was there we went back on the cycle track and then me and isobel started talking until we realised chloe was gone so we went back to my teacher and he said" you will never see her again she is dead!! what does this dream mean???

Im Having a Vocal Lesson and my teacher always giving me a High Tone of Voice but i have a Terrible voice when it comes to High tones and i can't breath when im Doing a high tone and im having a cough too.Please advice me how to Comfort my voice you can't suggest Teas and other Alcoholic Drinks my mom will not allow me she's strict at me drinking Bad Beverage can you give me a Healthy and Comforting Drinks to recover my voice.

I am a vegetarian-no meat fish etc., but I do eat diary. I have a problem tho. I am trying to lose weight, but it is really hard for a few reasons. I think I am taking in too much fat, because diary is mainly where I get my protein. I do not control the grocery shopping list, which means 1)if I want special veggie foods (tofu, veggie burger, etc.) I have to buy it myself, 2) I don't always have the veggies and fruit I need in my diet. But at the same time, I cook dinner for the rest of my family, who are not vegetarians. I am getting desperate here!

A woman shot and killed a rifle-toting teenager who burst into her home late Friday night in Zion, police said.
The intruder was identified as Gerrell N. Davis, 16, of Zion, Police Chief Doug Malcolm said Saturday. Clad in a black ski mask and gloves, Davis forced open the back door of a home in the 1700 block of Jethro Avenue, Malcolm said. This was shortly after the couple in the house heard a knock at the front door and asked who was there but didn't open the door.
The 55-year-old wife heard the doorjamb shatter, grabbed a 9 mm handgun from her bedroom and ran to the kitchen, Malcolm said.
She fired twice and both rounds struck Davis, who was found by police on the kitchen floor still wearing the mask, Malcolm said.
"It's a terrible situation when it involves kids like this, but these were two middle-aged people sitting in their house and someone came in with a loaded rifle," Malcolm said.

Given that they are nota native species to the UK, and are largely responsible for a massive change in the eco-system over time, decimating songbird population through the introduction of a indiscriminant predator, and so forth, why on Earth do some people hold them in such high regard?

If you ask me, there should be an open-season on cats, particulalry the ones that come into your garden and crap everywhere.

I am 28 1/2 weeks pregnant and am seeing a urologist for frequent UTI's. She said the infection I have now is only treatable with Cipro, which is a pregnancy category C. She ran it by my OB-GYN and he has okay'd it for 10 days. I am still nervous to take it though...anyone else had to take this drug or any other preg category C?
