There are some women who naturally have hourglass shapes. I'm one of them. It's a matter of genetics, not use of corsets or surgery. Exercise can help accentuate this shape, but only to a degree. The links you give use camera tricks, like shadows and the model's positioning of their bodies to make their natural body shape appear to be more pronounced than it is in reality.

You could find some cute corsets at Fredrick's of Hollywood; not a full-on real corset, but one that still can restrict. They're about $30. Otherwise, most corsets are at a thrift store or online. You could look on ebay or just look up "buy corsets" on Google. The average price of a GOOD corset is I think $60+. Custom made ones are extremely expensive. There are plastic boned and steel boned corsets. Plastic are for show and can only go so much before messing up. Steel boned are the ones women wore back then. I don't know much about corsets and body shape, but I think there are just different sizes.

It's called corset training. They have worn a corset so often that their waists have shrunk to that size, and maintain that shape even when not wearing one. It can take years of wearing a corset almost every day, for most of the day, before your body keeps that look when not wearing one.
Women have different body types, and that can't be changed no matter what you do. You may have a different shape with a smaller waistline, but not the hourglass figure that those women have. While an hourglass look can be "faked" when wearing the right clothing, it can't be obtained with corsets, surgery, or other means.

... those women are not naturally that shape, you do realise that dont you?? they are exhaling every last bit of breath that they can from their lungs and arching their backs. Its actually knid of difficult to do, its a god exercise for toning your stomach aparently. But back to the point. Those women have very tomed stomachs to begin with and then do this exercise. Also, they have big hips. Im talking, 10-12 inch difference between waist and hips. If you dont have that, ie, if you have a boy figure, you wont be able to amke your stomach look like that.

the second posting, if you'll look carefully, is trick photography. The shadows are carefully manipulated to make the girl look skinnier than she is. For those of us who have such narrow waists, it's because the ribcage is so far away from the hip bones. It's a matter of genetics, hon, and making yourself miserable because of a photograph isn't worth it. Be proud that you have a genetic trait that is interesting. The women that wear corsets are training their bodies to do what yours does naturally.
The down side is that because we have this trait, we are subject to a strange malady called fascia syndrome. It makes your back realllly hurt because we don't have the support of the rib cage for our middles like the other women do. Strange how that never gets mentioned, huh?

Those girls haven't ate any thing hearty a whole week before that photo shoot. They took one deep breath before saying "cheese". To achieve the no stomach look you should eat more fruit and veggies. Don't eat foods that take over 6 hours to digest.

From the look of it these models were holding in there breath, sucking in ther ribs, Most any thin girls can do that, try it yourself you will see. I dont personally think its a lovily thing to see ribs, but a lean tummy is nice to have. Just watch what you eat, and you will have that nice lil tum, most girls want.

It looks like they are holding their stomachs in. My son can do that and it looks like he is a starving child.
