I would like DSL service but I'm not sure if this is possible if I don't have a home phone #. I am trying to avoid getting a landline because I only use my cell phone as my primary phone. Is a working home phone # required or only a working phone jack?

It's not swollen or bruised, it only hurts when I run my finger over the specific spot where it hurts. When I do this, I feel my finger go over something in my jaw, that I don't feel on the other side. I think it may be dental related, because just last week, I had a gum infection which I'm going to get cleaned out next Monday, but however none of my teeth hurt and my gums aren't sore anymore. The dentist said the cause of the infection was that I wasn't brushing and flossing enough, so they got me brushing and flossing a lot more to strengthen my gums. So possibly it could be related to the gum problem I was having, or could it possibly be a wisdom tooth coming in, or possibly growing into my jaw or something? I am going to the dentist next Monday for my final cleaning of that little infection and will ask them about it, but I'd like to see your opinions to give me an idea of what to ask.

then later on in the day i felt a lot of pressure in my chest and felt like food was coming back up my throat.now it feels like something is stuck in my throat and there is a kind of lump in the area where it feel like that.i dont know if it is some kind of acid reflux i have no heart burn.i do have some kind of infection thats has not gone away for twon months.

He has worked for the same company for close to 30 years, but to "young" to qualify for retirement. His health insurance has not covered much of the bills to date and he has been going through this for close to a year. He was receiving half of his pay through a company disability program but that is gone. He has gone through the 3 months of salary that it is recommended we all save. He is also worried that if and when he can go back to work will he still have a job, FMLA ran out a long time ago.
I have found resources for people that are ill and have a family, but I guess if you are single person and have worked hard your whole life and saved as advised your just SOL. Meanwhile, the medical bills pile up while you are just trying to keep a roof over your head and the heat on. Something has got to be done in this country about health care. NO one should have to become bankrupt to stay alive, and still have a little dignity left.

My landlord has been acting really inappropriately towards me lately, like making excuses to come by my apartment late at night when none of the other neighbors are around just to "check" to see if everything's going okay, or to make sure I paid my rent (which I always do on time), and then hitting on me and telling me how cute I am, and generally making me uncomfortable. I'm the only tenant he does this to. I never allow him into my apartment during these times, but I would like to have another lock on my door because it makes me nervous that he has keys to my place and is acting this way towards me. Can I legally add an additional lock to my apartment door? I can't move right now, but I also cannot live in a place where I don't feel safe because of the landlord. I'm not going to answer my door anymore late at night, but there has got to be something else I can do to ensure my safety. My landlord also lives across town which makes these late night visits even more suspicious.

i have been talking to this guy and somewhere along the way i fell in love and yesterday he got asked out by one of my friends. he doesnt like to like other people but deep down i think he likes her, and he told me that if i didnt want him 2 go out with her than he wouldnt i told him that both of them should think about it and he said no i want your decision and i just stood there and he told me to call him and tell him tomarrow and it is tommarrow and i dont want to feel bad but i love him and if he dates my friend i feel like i would not be abel to talk to him or my friend and i dont want that to happen!

so, my first mistake was attempting to argue with a member of the Israelite Church of God in Christ (ICGJC) on how thier religion didn't make any sense, that their holy books and beliefs didn't make any logical sense. And their final answer? I am speaking the word of satan, and that they are still right. What is with people? stop coming near me if you aren't willing to enter into a logical discussion, which is hard when you religion MAKES NO SENSE.

A business man was involved in a terrible car crash and was rushed to
hospital. Just before he was put under,the surgeon popped in to see him.
"I have some good news and some bad news " says the surgeon.
"The bad news is that I have to remove your right arm!"
"The good news, I have another one to replace it, but it's a womans arm!"
"Carry on" says the man."As long as I can play golf again."
The operation went well and 6 months later the business man was out on the
golf course and he bumped into the surgeon who opperated on him.
"Hi, hows the arm?" askes the surgeon.
"Great" says the business man. "My golf has improved and my handicap is
down, but every time I go for a piss, the bloody thing wont let go!!"

An 80 year old couple were having problems remembering things, so they decided to go to their doctor to get checked out to make sure nothing was wrong with them.

When they arrived at the doctors, they explained to the doctor about the problems they were having with their memory. After checking the couple out, the doctor told them that they were physically okay but might want to start writing things down and make notes to help them remember things. The couple thanked the doctor and left.

Later that night while watching TV, the man got up from his chair and his wife asked, "Where are you going?"
He replied, "To the kitchen."
She asked, "Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?"
He replied, "Sure."
She then asked him, "Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?"
He said, "No, I can remember that."
She then said, "Well I would also like some strawberries on top. You had better write that down because I know you'll forget that."
He said, "I can remember that, you want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries."
She replied, "Well I also would like whipped cream on top. I know you will forget that so you better write it down."
With irritation in his voice, he said, "I don't need to write that down! I can remember that." He then fumes into the kitchen.

After about 20 minutes he returned from the kitchen and handed her a plate of bacon and eggs. She stared at the plate for a moment and said angrily:
"I TOLD you to write it down! You forgot my toast!"
