Lots of things can contribute to a late or skipped period; stress in your life, a new diet, new birth control, new sleeping patterns, etc. Give it a few days, take another test, and then if you're still concerned, go see a doctor. However, it is most likely not an issue, and you could wait a week or two before getting medical advice. And the more your stress about it, the more likely it is to be later...bodies are funny like that.
Best of luck!

I was 11 days late this month. 3 preg tests, and 2 doctors later.....it was stress. Just chill out, and don't stress. Take a nice bath, read a book, drink some tea. You know? Calming down, and not worrying about it, will help it come.
On the other hand, it depends on the circumstances. Did you use protection correctly? Wait a week. If it doesn't come, take another test. If it still reads negative, then go see a doctor.
90%, it's stress. 10%, you could be prego.
As Jack Nicholson in Anger Management would say: "Goose-fra-bah!" (In other words, relax!)
Hope this helps!

This happened to me took a test it was negative my period was 3 weeks and 3 days late. Don't stress, you may have a diet change or stress actually, maybe even a bit of a flu or sickness? Just relax, meditate, or do whatever helps you calm down it will start dont worry, but if you really are freaking out go to a doctor, maybe he or she can give a you a diagnosis?

it doesn't necessarily mean you've got a baby on board. My cousin always had missed periods (sometimes months at a time) and it was because her body was having trouble regulating her hormones. I've stressed a few periods into the next month too. So try to relax, keep and eye on it, and if you get really worried, see your health professional for some real answers!

Yup, main causes stress or change in routine or activity level ( starting gym or aerobics)
I've missed mine by as much as a week.
If this a recurring situation you may want to talk to a gyno about period regulation through use of the pill.

i would wait a week and then do it again... it is probably too soon to tell... and your period can be late cuz of lots of differant reason... especially stress... so relax and if it dont come in the next week.... then take a test again...
