Generally those are scams. Or you have to pay for a "degree" that is really just a piece of paper that says you "earned" a bachelors/masters/mba/whatever (and by "earn" they mean you paid a $100 or something).

Any free degree you would get online wouldn't be worth the paper it was written on.

Nothing worth having is free.
And I know lots of employers won't even recognize where it came from if you could find it.
