Is the spiritual gift of speaking in tongues still in use? I know people use it incorrectly a lot today. 1 Corinthians 14: 27 and 28 says "if anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and God." it's not supposed to be a big yammer fest (1 corinthians 4:23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand[g] or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?) there is an orderly way to do it. but someone told me that the spiritual gifts of healing, miracles, and tongues and interpretation of tongues are not still in use. I am confused because the bible says all spiritual gifts will be abolished when Christ returns...not before. if anyone can shed some light on this for me I would appreciate it. please back up what you say with Scripture...thank you!

I have been wondering for so long as to why blacks are always so quick to claim white and native american heritage. Most of my black friends claim that they are biracial when both parents are black. I understand most blacks have more than one racial heritage, but don;t you think it's kind of riduculous to see a person who is as black as can be in skin and features and say they are white?. I get offended because it means that they are trying to diown their african heritage and ancestry. I am considered light skinned...i dont think so...but anywho...people constantly as me...what are you? and I say, look at me..what do you think? They say chinese or white...I dont get it. It makes me so sad. It's like people do not want to be black anymore. What's wrong with being black?

My boyfriend was driving my car and hit a illegal imigrant, I was in the process of changing insurance company's because i got a letter saying they wouldnt cover my boyfriend when i tried to add him , The imigrant was coloring outside of the lanes and slamed over in the other lane and breaked it , my boyfriend hit him , the cop arested the imigrant and told my boyfriend the imigrant was not insured, My boyfriend hot a ticket for carless driving .The acident messed our car up pretty good , it did nothing to the imigrants big econ van , we paid 3000 dollars out of pocket expenses to fix our car , i got a letter from the Imigrants insurance company today saying we owe the imigrant 21,00 for loss'es, if we do not make arrangments to pay we will be sued. What happend if we do get a judgement to pay and dont? will they suspend my boyfriends licsense ? it did no damage to his van , i dont feel we should have to pay , i dont understand why we were told he didnt have insurance if he did?

We're together for 5 months now.
Lately, he wasn't showing any sign of wanting me in bed, but I wasn't that concerned...
Last weekend, my boyfriend asked me a very shocking question. "Why do you always reject me? You don't want any physical contact?" I had no idea what he was saying. I thought we were great, but he felt I wasn't giving any sign that I want him. So he had test me what I would do if he didn't lead me to sex, and though I was dissapointed some times, I can never lead sex from me, because my culture as Japanese, leading from female is not a great manner... And tell you which coupon to use on what item? Every single item bought was on clearance...they've used 13 coupons on 7 items, but still get angry with you b/c you've "cheated" them out of 6 cents. Indian men don't really do it so much, but the women will tear you apart b/c they've figured out the price in their heads. Reeeally good at math like that. I know I'm gonna get some backlash, but allll of us cashiers have notcied the same thing. Have you noticed this?
