find a close family member like a parent to take the child for the night so that you can sleep. Or if all else fails make sure the baby is feed and changed close the door and the monitor and let them scream. Because if you are about to loose your cool it could lead you to shaking the baby which is NO NO

FIRST thing you do is call in the cavalry. You need a friend, partner, or family member to help you, in shifts if need be, so that you can get enough sleep to be rational. You also need to talk to people so that everyone can tell you how normal it is and that it's temporary.
THEN you get that baby on a bedtime routine. Bath, book, bottle, and bed is a common solution. You can see a difference in at least a week.
Finally, if you've fed the baby, made sure it has a clean diaper, rocked and sang to it, made sure it's as safe and comfortable as possible... shut the door, put on ear plugs, and let it cry for a few minutes. Crying is good exercise, might work out some tummy pains, and is sometimes necessary for a baby to learn self-soothing.

1. Talk a walk and exercise regularly with the baby. Exercising sends of positive endorphins which makes the parent happier which in turn makes the baby happier.
2. Take naps when the baby is taking naps. It's important to have sleep but sometimes you have to work with the child's schedule at first.
3. Wear the baby out during the day--so he/she will sleep longer at night. Depending on the infant's age it's important to make sure they are active. Even newborns need to be somewhat active. In my own experience keeping them up longer during the day will keep them sleeping longer at night.
4. Routine. Once the baby is in a routine (bath, book, and bed) it's so much eaiser to just lay him/her down. I know you only said three but you can have your pick!
Personally, I wouldn't ask anyone to come over for help. Why? It's my child--I need to handle my own business. These are just some of the many things to try. I hope you get a good grade!

I cant imagine that happening, you cope as a mother, trust me. You could go a year with lack of sleep if you had to.
But anyways some ways to cope are to
1.let a friend or reletive watch the baby in the day for a while once in a while so you can catch up on your sleep.
2.Put the baby to sleep in bed with you so that you can easily feed it if you are breast feeding with out to much interupption.
3.Speak to the babies doctor on ways to help the baby sleep for longer if the child is old enough to be sleeping through the night.

It depends on the age. Newborn babies don't sleep through the night.
New moms are encouraged to nap when the baby naps during the day to help catch up on sleep.
In older babies, if both parents are working full time, then they should take turns with the baby so each one is getting enough sleep.
Under no circumstances should a baby be given Benadryl to make them sleep. It can cause seizures in children under 6.

Ask friends/family to look after the baby for a night so you can get sleep, try and establish a night time routine to help baby sleep through, if the dad is around, take nights in turns to look after little one.

when you do not need to work , you should adjust your sleep time to your baby and sleep on day, on the other hand you should try to make a routine for baby to sleep at night, and share the responsibility with your partner that both of you could have a rest!

How to cope, get someone to watch the baby while you sleep, sleep when the baby sleeps, remember that it will soon pass and is part of parenting. (Don't listen to anyone giving cereal in a bottle you won't get any points for that for your homework)

well you should make sure the baby isnt taking too many naps throughout the day, it should be 2-3 naps for about 1 hr each, make sure you give your baby a nice meal, and a nice warm bath.
