What's the nicest thing somebody said to you before that totally turned your life around? Also, no giving yourself compliments. That can help but it egoism just doesn't have the same impact.

okay i was in my hot tub about three weeks ago and then about a week after that i started to have brown discharge, i have had this for about two weeks and i should of started my period today (it's never on the same day anyway but i should have it by tomm) so if you could please give me what it could be mabe a specific name.(is it dead blood maybe from last period? i was just getting off it when this started:or is it my next period maybe) please help!

I have naturally wavy hair, which i frequently straighten. I normally don't use alot of product in it, except for the occasional spritz of hairspray. It looks good when I'm inside, but as soon as I leave for school it starts to curl a little, which tends to be really annoying when you spend like 40 minutes straightening it.

Are there any good tips to keep it straight?

I teach four 65 minute reading classes. I do not have my own room, rather I "float" from room to room so whatever materials I use, I must take with me. That in mind, I am totally lost as to what to do. I have the curriculum knowledge, I just don't know how to put it together. I do not want to fall into the trap of reading a story and answering the questions. I would love to do small groups with a variety of stations, but I can't bring those materials to three different rooms. Plus the students misbehave if they aren't watched closely. I am plannign to read a story on the Fitzgerald that sunk in the great lakes in the 70's next. I also use critical thinking news articles twice per week. So my question is what to do the other three days? I would like to break the period into chunks so we do not spend the entire period on one thing. We have bellwork for the first five minutes but the rest is up in the air.

About a month wait maybe two now, my boyfriend of 7 months, Nick decided he liked someone else. not just anyone else a pretty senior. we are only in 10th grade, the best of friends but now we rarely run into each other and when we do we dont speak. my ex (offically today) is acting like a jerk and i dont know why. he "broke up with me" b/c of a mistake that he forced us to do and our parents didnt want us to see each other anymore. anyway in class today he was talking to this girl he sits with and i overheard him talking to her and he was telling her all this crap like "yea i broke up with her cuz i got tired of her" (bullcrap the last thing we did/said to each other was a freakin kiss) but anyways he was telling her how he broke up with me and he never even did it! he ignores me...thats how he ended it but he is freakin tellin her that he was like "yea its over...". he is acting like a coward and a jerk and i dont know why. also i think i may of heard something about another girl or something but im not sure so i cant be 2 mad. anywayz im done with him. but i dont know who im suppose to handle him in class if he continues this. i dont want him or anyone else but i still cant imagin being with anyone but him, so what now?

My theroy is that these women (and men of course but I'm only interested in the female perspective on this right now) value other things in their lives as higher than a relationship and simply use others for sex as recreation, not really valueing the other person, at least not valueing them very highly in the sceam of their lives.
