My brother in law had a child out of wedlock and is not able to raise the child (biological mother already relinquished all rights to child). My husband and I are willing to take the child (she's a newborn) and adopt her. How do we gain legal custody of her while the adoption is in process so that we can put her on our insurance and make legal decisions regarding her? Is there a legal form that brother-in-law must sign? We will hire a lawyer for the adoption part...do we need one just to gain legal custody too?

I've been to five doctors, had all kinds of tests, spent a whole lot of money and no one has a clue, so maybe someone on here might know something.....I have a deep, burning pain in the muscles of my upper back, shoulders and upper arms with shooting pains in my hands from my fingers halfway up my forearms, I have no grip anymore and my hands feel like I'm wearing a pair of boxing gloves,I get intense cramps in my calves, biceps and back, my muscles have no stamina at all. This has been slowly coming on over the last ten years or so, getting much worse in the last year....I am a 48 yr old male, construction worker, physically active, don't smoke, don't drink, eat right, take vitamins and work out,.... I've been to an internist,a rheumatologist, 2 neurologists, and a diagnostic clinic. So far no one has a clue,so I'm wondering if anyone here might know of something, maybe my doctors are looking in the wrong place. Thanks for your answers.

One night a guy & a girl were driving home from the movies. The
girl sensed there was something wrong because of the painful
silence they shared between them that night. The guy pulled over and told the girl he wanted to talk. He told her that his feelings had changed & that it was time to move on. A silent tear slid down her cheek as she slowly reached into her pocket & passed him a folded note. At that moment, a drunk driver was speeding down that very same street. He swerved
right into the girls side, killing the girl. Miraculously, the guy survived. Remembering the note, he pulled it out & read it.
"Without your love, I would die."

isn't that amazing? my friend wrote it a couple weeks ago.

I hate my neighbor because he always throws eggs at my house and yesterday he keyed my car. He's still mad because my sister broke his nose. Anyway before this past election I took all his political signs and put them in my other neighbors yard. I then took my other neighbor's signs and put them in my nasty neighbor's yard. today i had my first breakdown i know its wierd but i was trying on my bathing suits for my friends pool party i know its a long time away but i wanted to see how i looked...i saw all of this extra fat and started crying...i was thinking about killing myself everytime my stomach moved i was thinking about going anorexic......then i cried because i thought about thinking about killing myself how could i have thought that?..then i cried because i thought about this boy calling me ugly and me letting him get away with it now that i think about it i think i am ugly......then i cried about everything in my life that i hate i am afraid of not having friends in high school next year i thought of when i die will G-D accept me without me being baptised? I thought about my good friend going to have sex on Friday with a boy shes benn going out with for 2 months...Im scared im definately not telling my mom she over reacts i need some kind of encouragment or something what would u do?
