I am setting up my wireless router and all I need is the Host name and the Domain name

Host name is anything. Make something up. Keep it simple, one word. Leave Domain name empty.

Do you connect through a PC for internet or are you just using this router to connect each PC directly to the internet? If connecting directly to internet without the use of another PC being on, you don't need a host name/ domain name. Typically host name would be the name of your router or your PC. Domain is the name of your network/server.

LOL – psycho is guessing you are configuring router :)) Anyway I can concur he’s right LOL.
Host name (field in router) – will show as “name” of router
Domain name (field in router) – is a letter (as oppose to numeric) form of address of your PC which is only to be filled if you use static IP and your ISP offers domain names.
