AS A Muslim I think that the remarks made by the pope were not neccecary and far from the truth... but I am not going to burn a building or kill a nun. God/Allah will be the final judge on this matter.
the pope should be allowed to visit turkey, it is a great idea , maybe it will help clear up misconceptions he seems to have about Islam.

I think at first the Pope did well to stand up against the evil Muhammad. But like most religious leaders he apologized and backed off of what he knew to be true. He is visiting Turkey to thumb the Muslims in the nose. He is letting them know their vote doesn't count when it comes to speaking the truth.

Not to be disrespectful but it strikes me as amusing so close after thanksgiving most people ate turkey in thanks but the Pope actually has to visit Turkey . Otherwise outside my silly humor I don't know what the Pope could hope to gain . FYI not a Christian anymore and not a Muslim either but thanks for the question.
peaceout

I think it's a great idea. I'm a Muslim but I went to a christian school. I find so many similarities in both religion that I can't understand why we all can't get along.

As a Christian, I really have no interest in what the Pope does. I dont wish any harm on him but he has no importance in my life.

I think this pope lacks the social skill of tolerance and christian ideals of forgivness, not being prideful, and leaving things up to god so I hope he doesn't make tensions worse
