In November of this year, three states voted not to legalize marijuana -- Colorado, Nevada, and South Dakota. My question is, is there evidence to show that a trend will eventually sway public opinion over the 50% mark? I'm looking for data that shows that either public opinion is not moving, or, if it is, when will a majority support legalization?

Where can I find that kind of data?

I have been at my job for a month. After being here for a week a co-worker quit. Although we are the same level, she had been here 12 years.
When I interviewed I was told I would have an office, instead when I started my desk was put in a reception area due to lack of space.

I've been reading other peoples' questions about pimples or pimple-like things on their privates, but no one was very specific about where these things were occuring.

I have something that looks like a pimple. There is just one of it. It is right on the middle of my perenium (that's the flat skin between the scrotum and the anus).

I tried to squeeze it like I usually do with the occasional pimples I get elsewhere on my body (thighs, face, etc) but I can't squeeze anything out of it.
It is white, so that's why I thought it was a pimple.

It is almost like a little piece of my skin that is dangling off. It feels very attached. I kind of want to just tear it off but I'm afraid that would really hurt.

I don't think it is an STD because I don't have very much sex and I always use protection, and I've never gotten any other STDs, and this doesn't seem to match the decriptions i have read of genital warts or anything like that.

I've had this for several weeks now.
Any ideas what it is??

For our physics class we have to make a tennis ball launcher and we are also responsible for doing calculations to predict the distance our launcher will be able to launch the tennis ball.

I have done the calculations here and can be seen in this PDF file:

I have looked through it but I know it is wrong. For u = 0.5kx^2 which is the first equation, x is the distance we can stretch the bungee cord which is supposed to be 1.2m and not 1.2-0.955(0.955 being the "slack " length of the cord). The problem is if I use 1.2m for x and follow through with everything else I get a ridiculous number like 500m. Which I know is not right.

Just a short explanation of what else I did for the calcs. After I found the PE of our bungee cord I found the velocity then used projectile motion.

If anyone can look through what I did and see what I did wrong I would appreciate that.

Hey, I want to ask this girl out. There are a few put offs though.
1. She hangs around with like 10 other boys and usually not me.
2. Last time she seemed to like talking to me, I was tired and kinda put off the conversation.

I got a virus called trojan-spy.win32@mx. And I used AVG Anti-spyware 7.5 to eliminate it. But no matter how many times I did the scan it still exists. It's very very annoying cuz it's popping up every 5 seconds. it's also called cyberlog.x or cyberblog.x. Please somebody could help me?

George Phillips of Meridian, Mississippi was going up to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked "Are any of those people in your house" and he said no. Then they said that all patrols were busy, and that he should simply stay in his house, lock his doors and an officer would be along when available.

George said, "Okay," hung up, counted to 30, and phoned the police again. "Hello I just called you few seconds ago because there were people in my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now cause I've just shot them all" ...Then he hung up.

Within five minutes three police cars, an Armed Response unit, and an ambulance showed up at the Phillips residence. Of course, the police caught the burglars red-handed.
