I've been entertaining the thought that there may not be an afterlife. As you descend to the end of your life does the thought of absolutely no conscious moments after you breath your last make you fidgety? Could the afterlife be an invention of people horrified at the thought of non-existence? If I could trick myself into believing that when I die I'll go to a wonderful place where all my wants and needs will be fulfilled, that would be a comfort.

I am a doctor in the US .with my level of IQ you'd think that i'd be able to tell when a girl is really into me and when she has an eye on my wallet. but the truth is that I have no clue.
There is this girl I met not too long ago. She is as sweet as can be but she has a lot of debts. She owes every credit card company. she likes expensive trips, expensive stuff,She dosent seem to care how she spends money. she wants the best in clothes and shoes even though she dosent earn that much. so it becomes a problem knowing if she wants me for me or she wants me for my money. Is there a defnitive test out there for me to find out one way or the other? I dont want to sound uptight or cheap. and I dont want to sound paranoid but I need help

i understand the artists rights but let me give you a curiosity scenerio?. if i went out to the shops and i bought a packet of ciggaretes, that packet is now mine. i bought it, i paid for it from my own money and now i own it and can do what i want with it. if i went to a music store, bought a cd with my own money, that cd is now mine. i bought, i own it and i can do what i want with as i paid for it from my own money. has that artist given up their rights because they sold it to me? it is now mine and i own it. if they don't want their music taken then they don't sell it and give up their rights yes? also if that artist has songs on they album they did not write but copied (say 50s music for e.g), then it's the original owners and not theirs anyway to complain about copyright? they have already copied first. also say if i decided to put the songs from my cd that i bought and own on to a mobile site for people to download to their mobiles for FREE, is that copyright as i own that cd

My wife is about 9.5 days late. We had sex 2 times this month (I work irregular hrs) I wore a condom with spermicidal lubricant and did not ejaculate in her. She has taken name brand home pregnancy tests on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th days of her missed period. (All negative) A couple of days before her period was due her sister had a pretty serious medical scare and yesterday she found out that her parents are having some SEVERE financial problems. She keeps telling me she isn't pregnant. My question is, will the stress brought on by her family situation and the hoildays cause her to this late or longer, or is she more than likely pregnant?

I have a rash - similiar to heat rash, that Moves! My entire body itches. I have gone to dermotoligist and have tried styeriods and other oral meds and 3 different prescribled creams. Nothing helps. The rash is now over my entire trunk of body. I dont know what to do anymore. I have switched to Aveeno products and scent/dye free tide. I am eating noting new. HELP
