Everyone knows how powerful "Nature" can be. I believe Nature has kept us alive and Mother Nature can also vanquish / destroy all human civilisation, maybe all living beings in no time if she wishes. Anyone disagrees ?? I would like to have individual opinions.

Only those who can see mother as god will see true god. anybody or anything that gives us shelter, food, protection is considered as mother or god. Indians-Hindus are the only ones who still hold mother in high esteem.

Mother or nature has the power to give and take away. that is a universal truth. those who respect mother respects the nature and respects god.

Contradiction: God is a Father. He's THE Father. The bible clearly says that there are no other gods apart from Him. He is a jealous God and will share His title with no one. If He's not God of all, then He's not God at all.

The nature you're refering to is God's influence on all that has no free will (that influence being all powerful without limitations).

So, no, I don't believe in any "Mother Nature" of any sort.

God bless. :)

If you believe that Mother Nature is God then you do not believe in the true God. The true God who created nature says that He will not share His glory with another.

Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God;s invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures." Friend Nature is God's laws, Not laws of the old testament but in nature God puts certain laws into nature, like the nature of a flower blooming in the spring & dying in the fall, & so on, Actuall nature is not a mother, since it is God that makes nature, But we have always call it mother nature, of which I don't really see anything wrong in saying that, I myself still say mother nature, But when we say that let us not forgt the ONE TRUE GOD WHO CREATED NATURE.

But there should be the creator of Mother Nature.

Greatness of God*

[39:67] They can never fathom the greatness of GOD. The whole earth is within His fist on the Day of Resurrection. In fact, the universes are folded within His right hand. Be He glorified; He is much too high above needing any partners.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*39:67 Our universe, with its billion galaxies, a billion trillion stars, uncountable decillions of heavenly bodies, spanning many billions of light-years, is the smallest and innermost of seven universes. This incomprehensible vastness of the seven universes is within God's hand. Such is the greatness of God. See Appendix 6.

The Big Bang Theory Confirmed*
[21:30] Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?

[21:31] And we placed on earth stabilizers, lest it tumbles with them, and we placed straight roads therein, that they may be guided.

[21:32] And we rendered the sky a guarded ceiling. Yet, they are totally oblivious to all the portents therein.

[21:33] And He is the One who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in its own orbit.

[21:34] We never decreed immortality for anyone before you; should you die, are they immortal?

[21:35] Every soul will taste death, after we put you to the test through adversity and prosperity, then to us you ultimately return.

mother nature "gia" is just one aspect of the goddess. creation is feminine. i don't believe that the goddess would destroy civilization.
mankind causes most of the problems that the earth is facing. we have ignored the signs, and continue to tear down the very things that give us life.
we are destroying the rain forest, pouring pollution into the oceans, and filling the air with poison. we are running out of space for the trash we continue to dump in landfills.

we were given this earth. although i'm sure that it saddens her to see what we've done with her gift it is up to us to take care of it. this is true no matter what you believe in.

I do respect you for your opinion if that's the way you profess your belief...but as for me...I believe in God like you do...even though I haven't seen Him...because of the bountiful legacy He gave us through His creation...manifested with the so called "Mother Nature" we have. God the creator...Nature the creation.

Mother Nature is a secular term for God. It was made popular by humanist and evolutionist who deny God.

Well if you believe in God- you'll see that He says that there are no other Gods... Yes the world can be powerful-and who do you think made it that way. Try and worship the creator not the creation.
