Well personally if it were me, I'd want to know. In order to save face so that you can kinda "keep out of it" you could send an anonymous letter to her informing her that her spouse is cheating. This will at least give her a heads up and let her start her enquiries with her husband.
You need to remember that this could be dangerous as she believes or thinks her spouse is monogamous and he is actually sleeping around - he could have done this before, besides the niece. What kind of STD's is he subjecting her to. It could damage her ability to have children, or worse - kill her.
She needs to know for her own safety.

It's a difficult situation, but protecting a cheater I don't think is right. Not only that, but why should your friend be wasting her life with a guy that obviously doesn't love or respect her. Cheating always comes out in the end, sometimes it takes awhile, but when she does find out can u imagine if she finds out that u knew all that time and didn't tell her? That would affect your friendship big time. Just remember it's not the "telling" that will affect the family, it's the action of the two cheaters that will do that. Your friend should be your top priority, so I would think of her first and be there by her side while it all goes down. She won't be happy at first, but in the end she will thank you.

I wouldn't tell the wife but i would hint that people know to the niece and the cheater. Let them make the decision if she wants to break up the family.

I guess I like the answer ... go to the niece.
My grand daughter told me that her mom and her mom's step-father (my husband at the time) were seeing each other behind my back. I was devastated at the time, but soooooo grateful, because I was miserable in the marriage and was finally wise enough to get out of it. Of course, my daughter hasn't had contact with me for seven years. I think I'd be a little ashamed myself, don't you?

I would keep out of it if I were you. Cheaters usually get caught at the end. That way you will not make enemies for yourself if they find out you pimped.
