Why does food taste like trash in Australia compared to the US...

Just about everything tastes better in the US... healthy foods.... junk foods.....

Their food is just so full of flavour

Has anyone else who has visited the US or is from the US noticed this?

If they are paying their Tithes and using part of the money they receive to build the kingdom of God, feed the hungry, give children school supplies and to support missionaries, why can't they have nice houses and cars and clothes? Are Christians supposed to be poor?

My fiance and I are opening a tanning salon and I'm looking for a fun creative name. Were opening it in one the units of his mom's plaza. His last name is Moore and the plaza is Moore & Moore Plaza. I thought it would be cute to incorporate his last name, but it doesn't really matter. Any good ideas? 10 points to the most creative! Thanks

I work in a small daycare, I'm a 21 year old white single mother, my daughter and I recently recieved flowers and a Teddy bear at work from a guy I met while at Traffic court. My supervisor said a very snide remark and ended the comment with being white trash. She not only said it once but repeated it to other caregivers at the Day care. She is my Supervisor/Boss so I feel I have no other option but to leave.

There's a cat owned by people down the street and most of the times it's nice and lets me pat him or her. Sometimes it bites when I pat it and holds me with the tips of it's claws. I let go and say no. Pat it again and it still does that.
There's another thing I can't work out. There's another cat (next doors) who sometimes comes to my door for a treat. Lately, for example, he did this.
I was bringing the shopping in and he just raced through the door a few seconds later, but instead of meowing for a treat, he ran straight out. I went to pat him but he didn't come closer, he just kept walking away little by little. until he reached next door.
Was he just racing in for the fun of it or was he agitated that day? Who knows.

I stopped taking my birth control pill on Oct 22nd. I just started my period today (I was a week later than I was while on the pill) and I am trying to figure out when the best days are for me to try to conceive. I know that it is about 14-16 days after the start of your period that you ovulate but what would be the best day or days to have sex??? And I have to say that getting sex out of my husband is sometimes like pulling teeth, its a struggle. So Im trying to find the best day that it would be most likely cuz well when you dont have sex as much as you would like it can be harder to conceive ya know. Any serious advice is welcome........

My 10 year old son would like to wrestle this winter at school. We were going to let him until we started talking to a wrestling coach. Now we are not so sure if wrestling would be good for him.
Our concerns are we don't want him to have to start worrying about making weight. I think 10 years old is way to young for kids to start worrying about what they weigh. If the child is healthy and active, then that is all they should care about.
The other concern we have is because of how big our child is, he would have to wrestle against more mature boys. Our son is 10.5 years old and is 5'2 and weighs about 140. He wears a size 12 in mens shoes. He's a monster for his age.
We don't think it is fare he wrestle against smaller kids but it's also not fare that he would also have to wrestle against kids that are in middle school and physically more mature.
If this were your son, would you allow him to wrestle or would you encourage baseketball instead?
