Why does food taste like trash in Australia compared to the US...

Just about everything tastes better in the US... healthy foods.... junk foods.....

Their food is just so full of flavour

Has anyone else who has visited the US or is from the US noticed this?

It's because we don't eat vegamite! No, seriously, we use a lot of spices in our cooking, so perhaps that's the difference.

Actually, my personal experiences and the stories from friends and family who have visited the USA are the other way around. There is universal praise for the food in Australia and a general opinion that there is far too much sugar in American food.
