every child is different, but just an idea as to how much mine is eating right now, he is five months as well. He is eating six ounces every 3 hours, and having cereal for breakfast, a stage two jar of baby food for lunch, and a stage two jar of baby food for dinner. Even if he just ate an hour before bedtime he will also throw in a few more ounces right before bed as well.

The general guideline for feeding a 6 month old formula is 3 to 5 feedings daily of 24 to 32 oz / 720-960 ml. For cereal start with 1 to 3 tsp once a day and gradually increase to two feedings a day of 2/5 tbsp each. For veggies, after single-grain cereals are introduced, offer pureed and unsalted cooked vegetables. Start with two feedings a day of 1 to 3 tsp each and gradually increase to 3-5 tbsp daily. For fruits, after first vegetables are introduced, offer pureed and cooked fruits or very ripe. Mashed fruit (e.g. banana). Start with two feedings a day of 1 to 3 tsp each and gradually increase to 3-5 tbsp daily. I have enclosed a link to my website that shows the "Feeding and Nutrition Guide: Introducing Solid Foods", it's very helpful :)

that's significant for a newborn yet im specific it relatively is not something to difficulty approximately. My nephew exchange into vast like that besides, he continues to be vast weighing a similar volume as his 3 300 and sixty 5 days old sister and he's only 2. he will at last improve taller and start up shifting around (crawling, strolling) greater which will help him to loss some weight.

YaY!!! Brunette, BOoo Cassandra. I have a 7 month old son who has been eating solids since 4 months old. We started with cereal, gradually increasing to orange veggies then other things. He now eats a bowl of cereal with fruit in it in the morning, a bottle in between bf and lunch, a jar of baby food at lunch, bottle in between then a jar for dinner and fruit and bottle for night snack. HE SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!! LIsten to your health care providers as well. They have good suggestions.

no baby food before 6 months. i'd say no baby food ever. what a stupid product. also has been contaminated on several occasions.

we breastfed on demand and at around 9 months, our kids showed interest in solids we were eating, so we mushed them up and gave the mushed solids to them.

the formula companies sell you a product that lowers your babies iq, increases her risk of diabetes, cancer, and other illnesses. you really want to add their baby food to her body?

keep it natural. just feed him real food when he's older.
