I was hit by a car that was delivering news papers (in IL) She was at fault. Her insurance claims she was an independant contractor there fore they are not liable. I have heard that the US court handed down a decision that prevents insurance companys from hiding behind the "independant contractor " thing. Does anyone have info or website on this or advice as to what to tell her insurance company?

The screen is black with lots of words, including: No debugger Configured - dumping debug information. We have restarted it and even taken the battery out but the screen still comes back when we turn it on.

Great Western Railways sent me an E Mail offering discounts on rail tickets. As I was planning a weekend in London I booked 2 return tickets.
The cost was £58.00 for one ticket and £38.00 for the other one.
The price for return was shown on the ticket and although we had no problems on the outward journey, on the return we met the most arrogant man either of us had ever met ( he was in the guise of a ticket inspector) He questioned the prices on the tickets and told us they were wrong. I went through the rigmarole of explaining exactly how I had bought them etc. but he would not accept the explanation. I had a booking reference with me and asked him to check. He told us he did not have time and if I did not pay an extra £20.00 we would be put off at the next stop.
The conversation had obviously been overheard by other passengers, and his attitude was as if we were trying to steal a ride back to Devon. I had no alternative but to pay. I sent GW an E Mail with absolutely no response.

I know you cant tell if your pregnant by asking people online but im just wondering if by these symptoms, if its possible or not....i thought i was going to get my period the other day, i usually get a headache and lower back pain the day before i get it, which i had but then no period....i have been very tired and seem to be more hungry more often, i have gained about 1-5 pounds over the last 2 weeks...also every once in a while i feel a short little shooting pain either in my belly or lower back....anyone have any ideas?

There was this young lady in my supermarket who I am always polite to, because she is polite to me back. Yesterday she gave me her number, it turns out that she has a crush on me. Since she is a very nice young lady I told her sorry I did not swing that way and had no intention to. What would you of done in this similar situation. Did someone else ever received something like that and what should I do. This email got send to my german Email adresse but in english which really confuses me.

Oh and my virusprotection is not finding anything, but I am not sure that he scanes my emails.

I was thinking about how a status symbol of today is those cell phones that everyone has clipped on. I can't afford one. So, I'm wearing my garage door opener.

You know, I spent a fortune on deodorant before I realized that people didn't like me anyway.

I was thinking that women should put pictures of missing husbands on beer cans!

I was thinking about old age and decided that it is when you still have something on the ball, but you are just too tired to bounce it.

I thought about making a fitness movie, for folks my age, and call it "Pumping Rust."

I have gotten that dreaded furniture disease. That's when your chest is falling into your drawers!

I know, when people see a cat's litter box, they always say, "Oh, have you got a cat?" Just once I want to say, "No, it's for company!"

Employment application blanks always ask who is to be notified in case of an emergency. I think you should write, "A Good Doctor!"

Why do they put pictures of criminals up in the Post Office? What are we supposed to do write to these men? Why don't they just put their pictures on the postage stamps so the mailmen could look for them while they deliver the mail? Or better yet, arrest them while they are taking their pictures!

I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older. Then, it dawned on me, they were cramming for their finals. As for me, I'm just hoping God grades on the curve.

The CT scan showed my l4 and l5 discs are bulging, but I don't understand why that would happen. I'm only 24, and I haven't had any major injuries or accidents, and I have a boring office job with little to no lifting. Any insights on why someone like me might have that?

Also, I'd like to prevent these bulges from turning into full on herniations as much as possible. I'd welcome any insights on how to do that as well.
