One of the most obvious I can think of is Dia de los Muertos, literally Day of the Dead. Celebrated the most in Mexico, the holiday is meant to celebrate and honor the deceased, not mock them. Another is Easter, celebrating the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. One could possibly say that Halloween is meant to in some way celebrate the dead. Dia de los Muertos comes from the Mexican culture, Easter from the Christians, and Halloween comes from All Souls' Day. Superstitions would be ghosts, holding your breath past cemetaries, are many of the fears related to dying and ghosts.

The death is Mourned every year in every Shia Muslim house.

I know of two;
The Mexican Day of the Dead. (Celebration of ancestors past)
Halloween (also known as Samhain)

In many cultures (I know of Greek and Irish) they place coins over the eyes of their dead to pay the ferryman - otherwise their souls have to wander for eternity.
