A friend has been on and off drugs since he was 13 now 27 he's just gone off the rails again. Parents have now given up. Is there hope for him. Has anyone really beaten the addiction. He's done everything heroin,pills. Now we hear he's had Ice. Is there hope or should we all wipe our hands off him. His parents say he's severly depressed . I think that was caused by all the dope he smoked. Anyone got advice on how to handle this.

Bojan Krkic is another great young player that came from Barca school of football, he was supose to score over 800 goals in the lower divisions of Barcelona!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do you think about him????

you feel like you want to die and you have tried self harming but you never have the guts to go the full way.
have you felt like this before?
and do u think its not as imrportant as someone that dose alot of self harming and have tryed to kill themselve?
as it seems you dont get help unless you try to kill yourself or if you have cut yourself loads.
what do you think ? and what would u do?

We have a handyman repairing some broken floor boards in a bedroom in our house. He has just informed us we have woodworm.

Do we need to get this treated? How much will it cost? What will happen if we don't get it treated? How do we find out how wide spread the problem is?

The house is approximately 100 years old.
Any advice appreciated.

3 weeks ago I broke up with my girlfriend of 4 years. I'm living in a foreign country (that I came to because of her) and can't speak the language. I'd go home, but I love my job and I don't want to be unemployed and living with my parents. My work involves lots of interaction with people and I cope with that very well. However, I'm very depressed and I avoid all social situations. There is a lively expat community here, they meet up often, but I never go. I spend all my time working, sleeping or watching films alone. I really don't want another relationship for a long time and I'm not motivated to socialize. How do I get myself to cheer up and get out more?

4cyl. 5 speed auto Can it be set to any mileage that I want? How often should I change my oil/filter? I live in NW Ohio, flat land. Get 31+mpg. Use 5w30 oil.
40% city, 55% highway, 5% idle. Rarely a heavy foot, gas or brake. Oil companies say 3K miles, Manual says 5K miles. Use a Lucas Product in both the oil and the gas. How about putting in an Air Hog air filter? Much of a problem on this car to do that. Keep tires aired at 29psi.. Alignment and Balance kept up. Garaged at night,(unheated). Use Rain X on the windows. Car waxed 3 times a year. One Mature Driver,(trucker). Never had an accident. Don't scrape curbs. Any GOOD info will be appreciated. Happy Holidays to ALL!!!

USC lost to Oregon St. Oregon St. is 7-4 and their other 6 W's came against opponents who combine for a 25-42 record. Thats sad. Ppl keep talkin about this impressive win over Cal. Tennessee dominating Cal was much much more impressive. Tenn. amassed 511 total yds, USC just 358. Ainge threw for 4 TD's on just 11 completions (of 18 attempts) and 291 yds. They also ran all over them. UT had their backups in by the beginning of the 4th quarter. Longshore was pulled the game was so out of hand. This is the product of the Pac-10? The second best team? This is why the winner of the Arkansas/Florida game deserves it, they play in a much tougher conf. and they didnt lose to a bad team such as USC did. You may say USC beat Arkansas, Arkansas played their backup QB/RB for 90% of the game and those 2 backups had 4 turnovers....if the starters were healthy, whole new ballgame.

I have suffered from depression for about 20 or so years. My employer knew about it when they offered me the job. This year has been very bad for me, so I have had quite a bit of time off with it.
With the new disability act in place, and with it covering mental health, does anyone know if I can be sacked if things don't improve soon?

i have an image from a wallpaper place, the size is perfect down to the dot on size, ironically, the same as the PSP, and its making me think that it was made for the PSP only, so if anyone knows how to convert a PSP wallpaper to a .BMP file or .JPG file, let me know, because i have some nice ones, adobe photoshop wont read it, MS paint either, i cant fund any thing that will play it, so any sugestions are welcome, also, i dont have a PSP. images are found here
