I give my dogs water from the kitchen sink which also has a filter. We can not invest in a LARGE filter system at this time. Is it safe to give my dogs this water? What about cooking in it?
Seems as though it has high levels of iron or calcium.

I know I'm going to get an awful lot of abuse and flak for this question, but on the whole, I don't really like women. Understand that this is not a hidden 'am I gay' question, and I think it's relevent to explain that I'm not, but most women seem to have an underlying cruel and sadistic streak. They're constantly proclaiming to be the better sex, and yet are blind to their own faults. Of course men are cruel too, but when women want to be cruel, there's no one better!

Ok, so I just made PTF, I'm looking through all the different health care plans and I feel like I'm trying to learn a new language. I'm a single 25 year old with no health problems so far but I do a lot of risky activities (ie..snowboard,ATVs,etc....) I don't mind paying a little higher monthly premium to insure I wouldn't pay a fortune out of pocket if I broke a leg or something but I'm having a hard time figuring out which is the best "all round" plan. If anyone out there has worked out all the details or had a good or bad experience with these plans, let me know what you would pick. Thanks for the help.

Hello,

I have some questions:

1. Do you think the calculated moment of inertia is larger or smaller than the true moment of inertia? Explain.

for static moment of inertia I have:.0202kgm^2
for dynamic " ":.0195 kgm^2

In this case, it's smaller but I don't know why.

2. Is the percent difference in accord with your answer to #2? Give plausible explanations/causes to account for the difference. for the percent difference I got 3.6% which is small so it does agree with #2. I am not sure why there is a difference though.

3. The wheel could replace the pulley on newton's law's 2nd law. Try to rethink an answer to the question: "If the pully has a fairly large mass, how will the result of this experiment be affected? "

I have known my husband for 6 years and we have been married for 4 years. I can say I am truly not happy and we have a 3year old and thats why we are together today. I like one of our friends and I just dont want to cause trouble between my husband and this friend, but I cant help what I feel. Tha said guy is very sweet and I have know him for about 7 years and we have never been more than friends. My husband has always given me everything I have ever wanted, but nothing I have ever needed.

Under Catholicisim, events such as evolution are accepted as the bible is considered religious truth not historical fact. In this regard, the Catholic Church will bow to scientific proof as it doesn't conflict with our faith.

Many Catholics find creationism and its new pal intelligent design distrubing as the evidence offered is limited and in no way show the wonder and complexity of how God created everything.

God created us in his own image, do those who belive intelligent design or Creationism believe that God could do himself justice so quickly and simply?

My husband and I are planning a trip to Italy at the end of March. We really don't need a fancy hotel room. Just a clean place to crash with a bed (and we do want our own bathroom). We would like to be reasonably close to the sights as well. We are planning on staying in Rome for a few days and then either a few days in Tuscany or a few days on the coast. Does anyone have a ballpark figure of what we should expect to spend on lodging?

my boyfriend's 10 yr old daughter got in trouble for yelling and screaming at other kids at recess for "cheating" at tetherball. the supervising adults got involved and she continued screaming and yelling at them. this boggles my mind because when i was a kid i'd never dream of disrespecting an adult like that. but, weren't we all beaten or spanked if we ever tried? nowadays, we fear being accused of child abuse if we even spank them. since this is the first time this has happened, we sorta scolded her but didn't actually punish her. if it happens again, what would you do? this is a deep deep problem!
