I am dont know how to connect oracle ( 9i / 10g) as Backend to my java program.

My boyfriend and I have had some arguments of late. We nearlly broke up but then after having a cry together, we decided that some time apart might do us good. He suggested the break but was agreed by both of us that is was just a break, and not a break up and that a week or so should be enough time. Also to give him more time to think about things as lately he feels a bit unsure of what he wants. He is staying with his parents who live 5 minutes drive away. He only took his work clothes and some sporting gear and toiletries. He also said that our arguments of late has affected him concentrating at work. In our arguments he says things like he's unsure if he loves me or not, but after we cool down, he says that he does love me... just gets angry when we fight.
Is it really just some time apart or leading up to a break-up ?

This will be the last Christmas for my 31 year old sister(if she makes it to Christmas). She has two beautiful little girls whom she cannot even pick up to hug. I love her so much and feel so terrible for what she is going thru. Considering the situation--I dont think that material objects will be of any importance for her. I have a degenerative disk between two of my vertebrates in my back. I am still young, 21 and in decent shape, non-smoker...I had been trying to do a lot of research about degenerative disks but have not found everything I have looked for. I was wanting to know if the disk can repair itself to any degree over a period of time. Maybe by taking nutrients, changing lifestyle habits, or doing anything, but I was really wanting to know if it was even a possibility, or once the disk starts to decay does it just continue to do so and you are only able to slow the process rather then ever improving it. Thanks for taking the time to read this, please don't tell me a bunch of ways to cure my problem, unless its something out of the ordinary, or you've had experience with a degenerative disk because I have tried nearly everything but surgery and steroids which looks to be my next step, but I want to avoid surgery by all costs because i have heard to mostly negative outcomes...Thanks

I want to give my 10/11th graders a couple of good contemporary movie examples of a man vs. universe conflict -- you know, where the main character (like Oedipus) spends most of the story trying unsuccessfully to alter or escape his destiny/fate? I'm thinking Romeo & Juliet, Star Wars. They probably saw Lion King when they were younger.

Can you think of any other popular movies released within the last 5 or 6 years that would illustrate this idea?

I went to my gyn today, and she told me there was too much blood (sorry tmi) to do the pap smear.I am not on my period, but I have been spotting for the past month of October. The doc said I could be beginning to come on my period, but she gave me medicine to stop the bleeding???Why would I need to take medicine to stop bleeding, if I am due for a period (which by the way is late).

My mom said I could be bleeding internally, and she is referreing me to another doctor, but I just wanted to know Has anyone experienced this or know any info on this?

i have a 94 ford f150 and i forgot to step on the brake pedal and pulled on the shifter and snap the shifter droped down and it didnt come out of park so i took apart the column and found the shaft that connects from the shifter to the cable that shifts the tranny is broke so i was wondering what the shaft is called so i can find a new one
