Double standard. He dug chicks on chicks as long as they were hot. Typical hetero guy. Even the ones who publicly condemn lesbians secretly dig it - just would never admit it. And, of course, they gotta believe a threesome with them is possible, if only in their imaginations!

I dunno, was (is?) it one of the cultures where a family basically chooses who a daughter marries? Maybe lesbians largely hid who they were because of their culture.
