How to remove shoe polish stain off wooden table?

my b/f spilt shoe polish on his desk and carpet and doesnt no how to get it off.. could cause him to get in a lot of trouble.. HELP!?

Try W-D 30, it works great on grease and I'm pretty sure it will get the shoe polish off of the table. Especially if the table has a good finish on it!

Ha ha cover the rest of the table in it and he'll be fine. Most carpet cleaners with oxygen take stains like such out quite well.
