My 14 year-old son is driving me crazy over this one "little" thing. I regularly find ball-point pens on his bedroom floor, on his expensive carpet. I guess they fall off his desk or out of his backpack and he's too lazy to pick them up. I'm worried that one day, the ink will leak and damage the carpet.

Do you leave pens on your carpet? Do you see this as a problem? If you were me, how would you handle it? I'm mostly venting, but am curious to see what kids think about this. Serious anwers only, please. :)

Help me out please..Christianity is broken down into many smaller denominations, right?. What are the major differences? For ex: Catholics believe in a pope, confession, anti-gay marriage, anti-birth control, etc. What do Methodist, Protestants, Presbyterians believe? I'm leaving the Catholic church, and want to find a new christian denomination, but don't know which suit me. Thanks. What is their stance on Baptising our baby?

A lady called her gynecologist, and asked for an "emergency" appointment. The receptionist said to come right in.

She rushed to the office, and was ushered right into an examination room. The doctor came into the exam room and asked about her problem.

She was very shy about her emergency problem, and asked the gynecologist to please examine her vagina.

So the doctor started to examine her. He stuck up his head after completing his examination. "I'm sorry, Miss," he said, "but removing that vibrator is going to involve a very lengthy , delicate and expensive surgical operation."

"I'm not sure I can afford it," sighed the young woman. "But while I am here could you just replace the batteries?

If you registered for selective service, Men only, only 18 to 25, oldest first. Its a lottery system, not everyone would be drafted. Stop listening to idoits who post sites saying if you reelect Bush for 04, you will be drafted. Its the same **** over again like with this election. A majority of congress must approve of a draft not the President, Democrats were in favor, but the Republicans had more seats. Congress decides if there is a draft, remember Democrats have flip flop mouths and they now have control of congress. If a President calls draft, congress can veto it, the majority party, but they can approve of it and make us think that they did everything to stop it but in reality approved of it. Congress can bring home the troops now, the majority party, Democrats, are they doing anything though or just bitching?
Children 15-17 who ask these questions, what if there is a draft? Grow up first. We adults age 20 and up have to worry, continue playing with your XBOX kids.

My husband has decided at 36 to get a degree, which I think is great. His career choice will get him a job working with computers. The problem is that his chosen field will start him out making around 20,000 less than he makes now. He is the main source of income for our family. I work full time but don't make anywhere close to what he does. I want him to be happy but I have medical problems and was hoping to cut back on some of my hours at work. I thought that when he finally completed his degree I could dut back and spend more time with my children. Am I just being selfish? How can I tell him to choose another career? Should I even tell him to pick something else? Please HELP
