You can come to the Lord's church, the church of Christ is and has been around since it's beginingand is there for those who want salvation. We are not a denomination and never have been. We in the church don't baptize babies since it is not needed. Children are innocent just as Christ said and as the Bible proclaims(Deuteronomy 24:16, Ezekiel 18:20, Matthew 18:3, 6, 19: 13-15, Mark 10:13-16, Luke 18:15-17, Romans 14:12). Below are a couple of links to help you I hope they help. Please take a good look at the link called evangilism update.
God Bless,
Chris

i could go on forever about the differences because that is one this that i have an interest in studying. if you are looking for a church to go to i would recommend you just read the Bible. find a church that follows what the Bible says. don't believe anyone just because they tell you they are telling the truth because even a liar will do that.
the word baptise means to change completely on the inside and that is why it is written that a person must be baptised to enter into heaven. the dipping in water is a symbol of the baptism which i feel is important but it must be understood why it is done.
i believe most organized religion is wrong and here is proof from the Bible;
The doctrine of the Nicolaitans was mentioned in the Apocalypse of John Revelation chapter 2. It is a symbolic name of a group of people that represents the hierarchy of a ruling class over the rest of the people, developing a pecking order of fleshly leadership. Jesus hates this and warns the people to repent. It is not the question of the ministries but rather in the separation of them into a hierarchy over the people. This very idea was taken over by the Protestants with their own corruption of leadership roles and coverings. The Church of Ephesus was commended for hating the deeds of the Nicolaitans. The wrong separation of the clergy from the laity is a great evil in God's sight and He hates the lust for religious power over others. There is an ungodly spiritual authority in the Church today, which is nothing more than the prideful spirit of control, manipulation, domination and intimidation and a rebellion of the rightful authority of God. Be careful of wolves in sheeps clothing.

Roman Catholics are not of The True Christian Faith. there is only one Church. The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. All who come to God in The Way He proscribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and become part of The Body of The Church.
There is no Biblical justification for infant Baptizm.
I will give you a link to my doctrinal statement. If you can accept this doctrinal position and find a small Bible teaching congrigation that can accept this position then you have found a place that could lead you to The Truth of Salvation. and help you find The Way

You should look for a church that teaches Bible Truth. Do they keep the ten commandments? Do they believe in the Spirit of prophesy? Do they teach th Truth about the state of the dead (the dead are asleep until the Resurrection)? Do they teach the Truth about baptism (must be of an age to make a decision, not a baby)? Do they teach the Truth about what Jesus is doing right now at this very moment (interceding on our behalf during the judgment that has been going on since 1844)? Do they have a proper understanding of the 2300 day/year prophesy? Do they know who the two beasts of Revelation 13 are?
There are countless other Truths that are Biblical that need to be understood.
No church has these Truths correct except for one, the Seventh Day Adventist Church. God bless you on your journey to Truth.

"What separates us as believers in Christ is much less than what unites us." (Pope John XXIII)
Almost all important doctrine is completely agreed upon between Catholic Christians and other Christians.
Here is the joint declaration of justification by Catholics (1999), Lutherans (1999), and Methodists (2006):
By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping us and calling us to good works.
There are many minor doctrine issues and some major cultural traditional differences which, I believe, do not matter that much.
A Catholic worships and follows Christ in the tradition of Catholicism which, among other things, recognizes that Christ made Peter the leader of His new Church and Pope Benedict XVI is Peter's direct successor.
With love in Christ.

Ma'am, while I have nothing to say about your decision to "leave the Catholic Church", may I suggest that you don't consider joining another denomination?
Jesus Loves you, whatever your denomination.
And that's what counts. Protestantism, basically, came about because of the protest by Martin Luther against the conflicts regarding the Catholic Church. All denominations are founded on opinions of differences that are perceived by people and none of them are infallible.
Insofar as baptizing your baby is concerned, ma'am; I personally think that even a simple anointing of the child with some water in the Name of Christ should suffice.
All the best.
Do have a nice day.

"I'm leaving the Catholic church, and want to find a new christian denomination, but don't know which suit me."
Isn't it more important that your religion suits God? If it is all about you, how pleasing is it to God? Don't you think you might be approaching this from the wrong angle?

Tough question. I would suggest you try out episcapalian. Not too far off from where you are yet, well grounded and more tollerant.. Many of those you mention are also different within each denomination depending on the particular location and it's members.

Wikipedia is pretty reliable about information on denominations.
Presbyterians do infant baptism. Methodists do not.

If you are looking for a Church, I suggest you study the Bible and find the Church based on its teachings. According to the Bible, Christ's church will have been restored in the last days, as there was a apostacy after Christ died. The correct church will have baptism by immersion, as Christ taught and did.The correct church will be lead by a Prophet and apostles, will pay tithing, will believe in revelation, will have the Priesthood, will care for the poor and widows, will do good works, will have temples, will believe in the virgin birth and that Christ is the Son of God. The correct Church will believe that Christ, Heavenly Father, and the Holy Ghost are not "one person" but three separate beings who are one in PURPOSE, not physically one body. The correct Church will not have nuns or popes or cardinals, as they are not mentioned in the Bible, nor is celibacy. The correct Church will honor Mary as Christ's mother, but will not pray to her or to proclaimed "saints". Christ taught us how to pray, and He prayed ONLY to God, as should we. The correct church will have missionaries sent to the world, as Christ's church had. The correct church will also be called after the name of Jesus Christ and not any other name given by man.
As for baptizing your baby, that is not necessary and is false doctrine. Babies are born innocent and should not be baptized until they are old enough to know right from wrong, and to consent to their baptism. The age of accountability has been proven to be around 8 years old.
