as a medium what so you do to help spirit's? do you have to be born with the gift of being a medium or is it a honed skill?

Yes. But it doesn't happen all the time. I can't decide when it happens. I haven't seen one in about 6 months.
Help them? They don't tend to... respond when you talk to them or anything. I stopped doing that a long time ago. if they want something, they'll let me know.
Most of them don't ever do anything but watch whats going on around them. I think they tend to hone in on me because I can actually see them.

Yes, I do see spirits. I do not consider myself a 'medium' although I can communicate with the spirits. The gift comes through a bloodline, in my experience. In my case, it is on both sides. The skill is honed constantly, but I don't know of anyone who does not have it in their bloodline actually being able to see or hear spirits. What do I do to help? Usually they are trying to get a message to a living person who can't communicate with them and I simply pass along my impressions.

I think personally, despite all the critics there are, that people are given a gift. All of us. its just how well people tune into the energies around us. Its a gift to be able to reach out and grab it persay.
So its born with and like any talent, grows with knowledge and openess to it.

I believe it is a honed skill. I would be very careful. I played with it for a while and didn't get into to much trouble but I have been pretty lucky spiritually.

They play on your feelings, the sound of your voice.
