My great-aunt whom I am very close to just turned 80. We are having a HUGE party for her on Saturday, and I want to get her the perfect gift. there's this guy that i like but i'm not sure if he likes me. we used to spend a lot of time together talking and we were very close. He was chosen to go to Uganda for a school volleyball tournament and my best friend was also chosen for the girls volleyball team. my friend new before they left for Uganda that i liked him, but ever since he came back he's been very distant and we don't talk anymore but him and my best friend seem to be very cosey lately and he called her and asked her out yesterday but she says it was a joke him and his friends were playing on her but she gave him a kiss on the cheek today. and he is really nervous (and excited...but more nervous). So am I but I don't want him to freak out so I don't really say anything about it. He doesn't mind flying but he's never been someplace without family. He's going by himself. We are both rather young (we're both in early twenties). What can I do to encourage him?
