I've read the 100 benefits of exercise but still can't get motivated. I hate to sweat, (sweating is unnatural) exercise is monotonous. I lead a sedentary lifestyle and I hate doing physical work.
I have a house full of exercise equipment I hardly use. A bench press with leg extension, an exercise bike, a hula hoop, an ab roller, barbells and dumbells, a skipping rope, dozens of instructional tapes from aerobics, yoga, dance to muscle-building. I've tried making exercise routine interesting by watching tv or listening to e-book on the exercise bike but my interest only lasts for one week tops and I would stop for months and then the whole cycle begins again where I have to force myself to work out. How do I stay committed to it and work out consistently? Most of my clothes don't fit anymore and my tummy is bigger than my chest. And I still don't feel like huffing & puffing & sweating.
