I've been bitten/stung by a few different things but I remember this bullant bite from a large red bullant that REALLY hurt. I'm interested in others' experience.

Three years age when I was working in Mexico, I was attack by africanized honey bees, I was stung over 1000 times. I only remained concious for the first few minutes, but I remember it was excurciating, like a raging fire cooking you from the inside, I feel unconscious, luckily my crew was near by, and managed to slow the onslaught with a fire hose, got a fireblanket on me. I was one life support for 4 weeks and comatose for 6 months. I swole to 3 times my normal size and had bites everywhere, mostly arms, neck, face, back, but also had bites in the crack of my as*, and other nether regions. My ears are still sensitive 3 years later. The pictures were truly disgusting. I would have to say that was the worst thing that has stung me. When working in Africa I was bitten by a baby horned viper, right on my the meat of my thumb, that also hurt pretty good, swole up, turned blue/black, was tender for a while, made sick for a few days, but I don't know if it was the bite or the anti-venom that did that. But it was a candle to a bon fire compared to the Bees.

over the summer I made the mistake of steping on a small ant pile (in GA we have those horrible red ants) and even though i was only bitten by one, it knocked the breath out of me. I had a red pustule for abotu 2 weeks and i could still feel the venom pulsing in my ankle. then about 3 weeks later i was on the back porch cooking out and placed my barefeet on the rung of the patio chair when i was bitten again, but this time i beleive it was a spider. no idea what kind, never saw it but it was the most evil pain i had felt. my toe swelledup and there were red lines going over the top of my foot. I called the hospital and they simply said that i need to keep my foot elevated and watch my temp. that hurt for days and eventually the swelling had gone down but that was an experience i won't forget. Hope this helps! ;-)

I got stung in the roof of the mouth by a wasp. It landed on my ice cream just as I was eating it. Thought it was a sharp lump of ice until I spat it out. Arrgghh!!!!

Got bitten by a horsefly last year and ended up in hospital with a severly infected arm. Didn't feel a thing when it happened though.

Haven't been bitten by a snake yet. Bet that hurts!

The most painfull stings are from stone fish and sting rays, the stone fish sting is so painfull it can cause death from shock. Thank God they are a very rare thing. I suppose on a day to day basis , hornets, wasp, some types of ants. As for bites, they are always painfull, had a centipede bite in Thailand, boy that makes your eyes water.

i've heard that a box jellyfish sting is the most painful. I however had a wasp fly down my t shirt while i was riding a bike. The stings didn't hurt that much but the riding down the street screaming like a small child being murdered whilst slapping myself all over my chest then hitting a lamp post damaged my ego and my face.

I have been stung by bees and wasps and even jellyfish but the most painful sting was from stinging nettles. Maybe it was because the nettle is covered with lots of stinging hairs so the area of skin affected was large.

I haven't been stung by a lot of things but there must be a stable of horse flies by my pool. The must have some serious stealth abilities because you can't feel these little buggers land untill they are ripping out a juicy chunk of your flesh/
